The future catches up to us, but becomes obsolete.
Roger had made food for him and James. The black haired man stared at the bowl of chonky stew. He looked up at Roger and blinked. "Do you want me to feed you?" Roger asked softly as he scooted closer. James blinked again and gave a tiny nod. Roger took the spoon and offered him a bit. James allowed his boyfriend to feed him. Of course he made the cutest faces as he ate. The man seemed as if he hadnt eaten normally in years. He licked his lips and whined for more.
Once they ate, Roger put the dishes into the sink. James watched in awe as the water came out of the tap. Roger shut off the faucet and looked at him. "Would you like to snuggle up in bed?" Roger asked happily and got a nod in response. "Yay!" Roger said as he led his lover to their bed. Roger sat down and patted the mattress so his lover could join. James wiggled his bum a bit before he hopped up. Roger gushed at his boyfriends cutness. "You are such a big cutie!!" He gushed and pulled James into a hug. James stared at him and let out a soft coo. "My darling, James..." Roger closed his eyes and laid back.
Blood spills from even the purest of hearts. There is no hiding from the sharp onslaught.
Verloc read over notes that were sent by Faraday. "Its going quite well, so it seems." He said as he read the scatter of paper. "What is, sir?" Constable Morris asked in curiosity. "You'll see soon enough, Morris." Verloc reassured as he placed the papers into a foldier marked "confidential".
Faraday was in her lap and desperately trying to sleep. She had tears roll down her cheeks as she had nightmares. The next day was still hours away though. And she couldn't do anything until then. She hugged onto her pillow as she slept. The woman was suffering from a cold sweat to make it worse.
James could hear footsteps. He was hearing Faraday. The woman had put the metal shutters down around the house, as well as her lab. She was terrified of James. He went to investigate the noise and headed up the steps. He let out a growl and looked into the window. Faraday was pacing as she waited for a chemical to heat up. James recognised it and started to claw at the glass angrily. Faraday gasped and fell backwards in fear. "M-monster..." She grabbed her camera and shot a photo of him trying to break in. The flash was on and it blinded him. He gave a pained whine and bolted back to the bed.
Faraday looked at the photo and stuffed it into a tube. She had her own mail tube, but the emergency one was outside the lab. She knew it had to be done. The woman was afraid of being mauled to death by James though. She grabbed a shock baton and cranked it up. The woman slowly opened the door and sprinted to the tube. She put it in and slammed the send button. Loud footsteps were headed her direction. She got back into her lab and slammed the shutters button. Low growls could be heard outside of it. "He really is a beast..." She mumbled and could hear loud banging on the door. She went silent and waited it out.
The next morning came slowly. Faraday was sleep deprived from the events of the night. She was afraid to leave her lab. The woman was a trembling mess and didn't want to be near James.
You can never revive what has been devoured in a blood soaked dinner.
Roger chuckled as James nipped at his ears in the bathroom. James couldn't speak so he would use gestures and noises. "You're such a cutie!!" Roger said as he hugged him close. James had become protective of him. He was not like before though. Roger helped James in his own routine. James was quite curious of the man. He often would nudge him with his head for a response. "Are you hungry? Because I sure am!" Roger chuckled as James bounced around at the mention of food. "Would you get Faraday to come? I'm planning on making more then we can eat alone." Roger said with a smile. James huffed but couldn't resist food.
There was a knocking on the metal shutters. "GO AWAY!!" Faraday cried out as she hugged herself tighter. James huffed and went downstairs. "Where is Faraday?" He asked to the now pouty James. The man shrugged and Roger frowned. "Sit down and I'll be right back." Roger instructed before heading upstairs. He gently knocked on the shutters. "I SAID TO GO AWAY!!!" She cried out in fear. "I'm making breakfast, you should join in." Roger gently said. "R-roger...?" She said as she timidly opened the shutters. "Who else?" He asked. "Oh thank god you're not dead..." She opened the door and hugged him. "What do you mean...?" Roger asked in suspicion. "Its a long story..." She sighed and was led to the kitchen.
James glared at her but knew it was food time. "I-I might eat in my lab..." She said timidly. "Hogwash! You can sit at the table with us." Roger said as he set 3 plates down and put food on them. James was focused on the food, but still glared at Faraday. Helen had a sinking feeling in her. But she knew there was nothing that could be done. She sat down away from James and sighed. "Have you slept at all, Faraday?" Roger questioned. "Not today much..." She yawned and rubbed her eyes. "You could take the day off and nap." Roger suggested as he fed his lover. James purred happily as he was fed. He nuzzled up with Roger and cooed. Faraday clutched her chest and glanced at the blower as she ate. "Are you expecting something?" Roger questioned. "I am..." She sighed and slowly ate.
The past can easily become our entrapment.
