Chapter Twelve Skys Pov

When I woke up I seen someone sleeping on the chair next to my hospital bed? I got scared so I jumped off the bed only to hurt my side again I then pressed up against the wall. Flashbacks were running through my head when it finally all stopped I had tears running down my face and a doctor was kneeling in front me. It was a female so she didnt scare me as much. The doctor helped me back to the bed before once again grabbing her clip board.

"How are you feeling," she asked?
I was afraid to talk I didnt even look her in the eyes so I just shrugged. I wanted to shift I felt safer in my wolf form I could easily protect myself but if I'm human im more vulnerable. I felt a little safer and I finally remembered this was home.
"Hey miss where's my mate," I asked the doctor.

She looked at me with a bright smile.
" hes on his way sweetie," she said smiling.
Once he came to the room I got up and hugged him even though my ribs screamed at me. Jared put one arm behind my back and the other behind my legs picking me up before taking me back to the hospital bed. He laid with me till we were told I could leave.

I was healed but the memories would stay with me for awhile which I knew I needed to tell my mate I just dont now when I'll finally tell him.

*two weeks later*

Everything was back to normal it was like I was never gone except for the nightmares that kept me awake at night but other than that I was okay. Jared was worried about me I knew that much but I reassured him everytime that I was and am okay. Jared was off doin alpha stuff so I was in our room reading when one of the pack members came and gave me a letter.
"Luna this came for you," they said before handing it to me and leaving.
I took and opened it and what it said scared the shit out of me.

You think you are safe but really you aren't I'll be back for you in a day you can either come willingly or there will be war.

I growled and I didnt even know I started crying until i felt arms of my mate wrap around me.
"Hey babygirl I'm right here i promise I'm not going anywhere," he said while hugging me to his chest letting me cry and soak his shirt.
I gave him the letter and once he read it he snarled and shifted and ran out of my room. I knew he wasnt pissed at me he was pissed off at Andrew. Jared mindlinked everyone for a meeting he told me I didnt have to go since I was tired so I showered and got into one of his shirts before curling up on my side of the bed with a stuffed wolf he got me it smelled like him so I was asleep in no time.

I woke up to him pulling me to his chest. I snuggled close to him and soon went back to sleep. I woke up to growling and the smell of blood comin from outside. I ran outside and seen Andrew's pack of rouges attacking my pack I growled before shifting. I found Andrew and went for the attack I slid under his stomach before goin back to a fighting stance.

He snarled at me and did a wolfy like smirk it kinda scared me but I didnt let it show. I figured out he was distracting me so two of his minions could splash something on my face it burned a lot. I howled out in pain but I soon went back to fighting. My eyesight was blurry but I still made out Andrew's form we went around circling each other he made the first move I easily dodged I then went for his throat and once I was latched onto his throat he whimpered but I didnt care I ended his life with a care in the world.
