Chapter ten Jareds Pov

        I was in a meeting with other alphas when all of a sudden a sharp pain is felt in my shoulder. I couldn't hold back the pain I screamed and I then knew it wasnt my pain it was my beautiful mates pain and this pain is so much worse for her my poor baby. The other alphas just looked at me and I finally gave up and decided to say something about my mate.
"You all know how my mate was taken well we haven't found her yet. Shes still missing and well the pain I felt is hers I need to find her now," I snarled.

                     *One hour later*

       I was in my room relaxing when my beta ran into my room out of breath.
"Hey dude you good," I asked?
"You border now emergency," he panted out.
I didnt waste no time in running out and shifting I made it to the border in less than five minutes. My pack was surrounding something when the wind blew I knew the scent they weren't surrounding something it was someone, and that someone was my mate.

       "Hes gonna be so mad when he sees what bad shape shes in," one pack member said.
"They deserve to die for taking and hurting our luna," another said.
I got tired of listening so I just pushed through to see my mate. I expected to see my mate looking at me and smiling but instead she was in wolf form with a silver collar and a bullet wound on her shoulder. The bullet must have been coated with something it wasnt silver or wolfsbane so it shouldn't have hurt so bad. I couldn't ponder on this now I took my mate into my arms only to hear a sickening crack.

        "My poor baby what did they do to you," I whimpered before kissing her furry head.
My mate is so thin I knew I broke one of her ribs from her being so skinny. It broke my heart seeing her like this as soon as I made it to the pack house I ran to the infirmary with my broken mate.
