Chapter fourteen Skylars Pov

*still in battle*

After I killed that bastard I went to help out the other members who needed it but my eyesight was getting worse. I still fought through and I finally shifted back after all the rouges were killed. My dad and my brother were instantly by my side and soon my mate was there too. I whimpered as my eyes really began to burn.
"Baby come on I'm takin you to the pack doctor," Jared said before taking my hand and leading me to the pack doctor.

"Amelia we need you quick," Jared said he sounded scared.
"Im here what do you need," Amelia asked.
"I was splashed in the face with something and now its effecting my eyesight its burning and my eyesight is slowly goin," I said with a whimper.
I knew I had a claw mark above my right eye the blood was running down into my eye which wasnt helping anything. I knew it would scar forsure.

"I'll need to take a sample of the liquid so I can see what it is and see if itll be permanent or not," she said.
She ran a cotton swab over my left eye since the liquid was still there and she instantly took it to her lab.
"Baby are you okay," Jared asked?
"I'm fine babe I promise," I answered back.
Amelia came back with a worried look on her face which I knew wasn't a good sign.

"It was a mixture of wolfsbane and silver and other herbs it was meant to make a wolf blind it's a mixture from hunters they used to shoot this stuff in our ancestors faces to blind them so they were easier to kill" Amelia said with a sad smile.
I gave my mate a teary smile knowing at one point I'll be blind and wont be able to see him ever again. We went to my dad and Alec which they were sitting in the waiting room I ran to my dad and cried in his chest he looked up at Jared and gave him a confused look.
"Baby should I tell him," Jared asked?
All I could do was nod.
"The mixture that was thrown at her was made to blind us and theres no cure," Jared said with a sad look.
My dad kissed my forehead.
"No matter what happens sweetheart I'll always be here for you just like your brother," my dad said while once again bringing me close to his chest.
I couldn't help but look at my dad my brother my mate I'm gonna miss seeing there faces every day. My brother took me away from my dad and hugged me.
"Sis I promise I'll help in any way I can well when I can get away from dad while hes training me for alpha," Alec said.
I gave my dad a smile thanking him for taking up my offer awhile ago.

*flashback*
"Daddy is there anyway you can give the alpha position to Alec hes the oldest anyways," I questioned my dad.
"Yes babygirl I'll ask your brother if he wants to be alpha," my dad said with a chuckle.

Alec was happy he was getting the position at least I know that my mate can be beside me and help me when I do lose my sight.
