A Two Cat Town

A/N just so nothing was missed from the last chapter I left out some details about the look change between transformations, but it was on the pictures I put in so make sure you looked at those

You quickly make you way through the city the panels disappearing behind you as you run towards the Eiffel tower where you find a spot high up and look over the city.

After sitting at the top of the Eiffel tower for a few minutes you hear a voice from behind you "well, well looks like I am not the only cat in town"

Chat's POV

I was just out on my normal nightly patrol you know the drill jumping from roof to roof keeping an eye and ear out for anything unusual. As I was heading back to the Eiffel tower to get a overview of the city I noticed a guy siting on the edge of one of the platforms wearing a suit that looked eerily similar to my own, so I decided to go see what he was up to.

The guy was just sitting on the edge looking out over the city casually kicking his feet back and forth over the edge. I slowly made my way over to were he was siting and leaned against one of the beams of the tower and decided to make my presence known.

"well, well looks like I am not the only cat in town" I said with a grin.

He must not have been expecting any one because the moment I made a noise he jumped almost a foot in the air. I quickly jumped up myself as I saw him start to fall off the edge. I dived to try and catch him but was a millisecond to slow.

[Y/N] POV

Chat scared you causing you to jump and slip off the edge of the platform and the only thing running trough your head was 'Oh God NO!!!', before you fell to far you quickly thrust out your hand below you and imagine a soft platform made of light to catch you and it appeared feeling like you just jumped into a large pile of pillows. Once you regain your composure you focused on the platform you were standing on to stiffen up and raise you back up to the original platform you were sitting on.

When you got back to the platform you saw chat with a pleading but excited face.

"OMG I am so sorry I didn't think you would jump that much" Chat quick burst out giving you the classic pleading cat eyes.

"it's fine no harm no fowl. Is this how you say hi to all the new hero's in town by sneaking up on them in the middle of the night." You retorted sarcastically.

"Sorry about that again but how did you get back up here I have never seen anything like that" chat said still pouting but also excited about the platform you made.

You look and the platform you made "oh that it was nothing, I make those all the time" you said with a chuckle knowing full well that you just learned to make them less than a half hour ago.

You hear Claw in your head laughing 'ya nothing' as he reenacted your mental scream from just moments ago. You send him a mental image of you rolling your eyes.

"So, what's your name?" Chat asked with a sly smile

"Oh, my name... yah... its... um.... Vide Lumineux but you can just call me Vide" (Vide Lumineux is French for Bright Void... at least according to google translate) you stammer out just pulling a name out of nowhere.

"Well Vide if you want, I am on patrol right now and am meeting up with ladybug in a bit you could join me" chat said with a warm welcoming smile

A smile creeped across you face as you thought about hanging out with Chat for a little bit "Ya I would love to"

"awesome well try to keep up Vide" Chat said with a chuckle as he leaped off the tower using his staff.

You quickly created a platform of light 'you now [Y/N] you don't have to run everywhere just command to platform to move with you on it' Claw told you.

Thinking on what claw just said you got on the platform and imagined it as a skateboard propelling itself through the air. With in no time you were zooming right next to chat who was starting to have trouble keeping up with you.

"Hey, Vide slow down" Chat calls from a roof top practically out of breath

You ride the sheet down towards him "Sorry I am still trying to get the hang of these things" you said with a shy glance

"well it is almost time to meet up with Ladybug back at the Eiffel tower... hey do you think you could give me a lift" chat said with a hopeful smirk

"sure, hop on" you say a bit giddy

As chat steps up onto the platform you notice how well the outfit clings to him showing off all of his muscles it wasn't until Claw commented that you should get going that you snapped out of it with a bashful grin and started to make you way back to the Tower.

As you came closer to the tower you saw Ladybug standing on one of the platforms and started to head towards her.

As you step on to the platform with ladybug Chat says "hey bug-a-boo you will never guess what I found while out on patrol"

Ladybug looks at him like he is an idiot "I don't know maybe it's the new guy that wasn't with you before, care to introduce us"

Chat loses some of the spring in his step "Man you ruin all of my fun" he said with a pout

You step up and pat him on the back "hey its ok" you turn towards ladybug "I am Vide Lumineux, but you can call me Vide I'm a new miraculous holder" you say reaching out your hand for a hand shake.

She reached out shaking your hand "well its nice to meet you and finally have a helping hand out here"

Chat acts mock hurt at her comment "ouch ladybug that was cold"

"Any ways what type of kwami do you have" ladybug asked

"well I actually have two a white cat and a black dog" you say nonchalantly

Ladybugs jaw dropped "what you have two how is that even possible"

The rest of the night was spent talking about tooth and claw. Before you knew it, it was already midnight.

"well it was nice meeting you guys but I need to get going I so I can get some shut eye before school tomorrow.

"ya it was nice meeting you" ladybug said

"ya ditto, I hope we will be seeing you around" Chat said with a smile

"of course, I was hoping that I could be part of the team now unless you guys don't want me around" you say with a frown threatening you lips.

"of course, you are welcome to join the team isn't he ladybug" chat said immediately

"of course, he is" she said looking over chat's reaction

"well I will see you guys around" you say summoning a light board and riding off

Chat's POV

Lady bug turned to look at me "so what was going on there?"

"what do you mean" I asked

"oh, nothing never mind" ladybug said with a knowing glance "well, I will see you late Chat"

"ya see you later" and with that we both headed off
