It's been a few day's since I've been in the schools hospital because of what happened when I was out looking for Kid, only if I had my guns then I wouldn't be in here! Ugh! I heard a faint knock on the door, I looked up and asked "How is it?" then waited to a response. "Keith" Keith said, "And Alex!" Alex said sounding a bit mad at Keith for now saying his name too. My eyes got wide and I smiled, "Come in!" I shouted because I was exited to see my weapons! I have not see them in a few days! "We got you some of your favorite flowers..." Keith said kind of fainted, I looked at Alex with a what is wrong with him kind of a look. Alex just shrugged his shoulders. "Thank you" I said as Keith put them on the side table.
-Kid's POV-
I can't believe my girlfriends in the schools emergency room! But I know she is getting better, and I hope she can go home tomorrow because I really miss her. I walked into my dads office, but he was talking to a blonde haired girl that I did not know. (Picture is her) I just stood in the middle of the room hoping my father would see me soon, and he did. "Hiiii hey what's up son?" My dad asked rubbing his hand on my hair, messing it up! "Dad..." I said fixing my hair, "Can you lend me some money so I can get a gift for Lexis?" The blonde girl looked up and me and stood up, "I did not know Lord Death had a son!" The lady said looking at me then back at my father. "What's your name sweetie?" She asked me putting a hand on my shoulder, "I am Death The Kid-" I was cut off by my dad. "This is my son, Death The Kid." My father said in his happy yet cheery voice, she smiled and me and I smiled a bit back at her. "It's so good to meet you!" She said hugging me, I did not hug her back and just stood there. "So who is this Lexis you are taking about?" She asked looking at me, "Lexis is Kid's fri-" My father begun, but I cut him off, "Lexis is my girlfriend." I said and my dad looked at me with a smile and messed up my hair again.
"Father! Must you do that all the time!" I yelled, "Sorry" He said putting his hand down like he was backing down. "Dad, may I have some money so I can get Lexis something from the gift shop?" I asked fixing my hair once again. He nodded and gave me some money so I could, I waved and left my dad's office and bumped into Maka and Soul, Maka was yelling at Soul for something while Soul was just leaning against the wall not listening to her, drifting off some where. "Hey Maka, hey Soul" I said looking at the both of them, "Hey" They both said looking at me, "What are you doing down here?" Maka asked being the curious girl she always has been since she has started at the Death Meister Weapon Academy. "I am heading to the gift shop to get Lexis something" I said and started to walk away when Maka and Soul caught up to me, "Oh! I guess we will fallow you and get her one too!" Maka said and I looked at her and smiled, she and Lexis are a little bit of best friends. But they don't do a lot of things together.......Soul put a hand on my shoulder, "She'll be alright dude" He said knowing that I was worried about my girlfriend. "How did you know I was worrying about her?" I asked not thinking my soul could give off that vibe, telling him I was worrying about her. "Your soul gave me the vibe, letting me know you are worrying about your girlfriend and what will happen" he said, when it came to loving someone who is in the hospital, he is good at talking to you about it! I sighed, "Thanks for talking to me about it though, but it's just....I really love her and I don't want anything to happen to her" "I know, I feel the same way about my Meister" Soul said looking at Maka.
Maka was holding something and was looking at it, trying to decide if she wanted to give it to my Lexis. "Oh hello Kid!" Someone said, I turned around it saw that it was Marie, "Do you know her?" Soul asked me, looking from me to Marie and back again. "Yea, I just meet her a few minutes ago when I went to my fathers office to ask him for some money" "Oh" was all that came out of Souls mouth. "Yea..." Then there was an awkward silence until Maka came over shouting "I got her gift!" Marie looked at Maka and Maka looked at Marie, "Who is that?" Marie and Maka both asked at the same time wondering who each other was. "Marie, these are mine and Lexis friends Maka and her weapon Soul" I said pointing to each one of them while I said their name. "Oh! I'm Marie, the new teacher here, I am so glad to meet you!" She said walking toward Maka and Soul, giving them a big hug."Erm..." Maka said as Marie hugged Soul and Maka tighter and tighter, "ERM! We can't breath!" Soul said making Marie stop hugging them and back away, enough to give them some space. "Sorry! I am just a hugging person!" Maka slapped Souls are, "Ow! What was that for?!" Soul yelled at Maka, "That was for being rude!" "How was telling her we could not breath being rude?" Soul siad giving Maka a confused look, like he did not understand anything she was saying to him at all. "Because you yelled it, you could have just been nice about it!" She said storming off some where. "Oh my, I better talk to her" Marie said and begun to walk in the same direction that Maka just left, leaving the room. Soul and I grabbed her arm, "Leave her alone for a bit" Soul started, "Then after she will calm down" I finished. "Okay" Marie said and walked away going some where.
"Well I better go check on Maka now" Soul said looking at me, "Okay, while you do that I will get something for Lexis" I said looking around the shop for a second and then right back at him. "Good luck" he said before leaving me in the shop, I walked around and found some roses and chocolates that I could give her. I walked up to the cashier and put the stuff on the counter, "That will be $15 dollars" The women said and I handed her the money. "Thank you" I said before walking away, I went up to the ER in the school and saw Dr. Stein checking out Lexis while she was asleep. I knocked on the door, his head shot up and looked straight at me, "Hello Kid" Dr. Stein said to me and then looked back down at Lexis and put another needle in her hand for fluids, I walked in her room and just looked at her. "Who is she to you?" He asked me mixing things together, "She is my girlfriend" I said kissing the top of her four head and putting a hand on it, "She's running a fever Dr. Stein" I said looking at him with my hand still on her four head.
Dr.Stein walked over to the side of the bed and put a hand on her four head as well, "Yea...She is, also her cheeks are as red as a red rose" he said checking her pulse. I looked up at him with my hand in Lexis's, "W-w-w-will she be o-o-okay?" I asked scared and sad seeing her like this, "I think she should be" Dr. Stein said walking back to a table with chemicals on them and mixing them once again, I nodded my head and looked back at Lexis. A minute later I heard a knock on the door, Mine and Dr. Steins heads looked at the door and saw Marie standing there. "Hello there" Dr. Stein said, "Hello, my name is Marie" she said walking over to Dr. Stein at the table. "Hello Marie, my name is Dr. Stein, but you can call me Stein" he said, and Marie blushed a bit. Marie turned her head to me and looked at Lexis, Marie sort of gasped. She walked over to me and Lexis and looked at her, "I-i-i-i-i-is thi-is her?" I looked at Marie then back at Lexis, "Yes. this is my girlfriend Lexis" "What happened to her?" I was about to open my mouth when the door slammed open, revealing a sad Keith and Alex. They rushed to the other side of the bed and just looked at her. I looked at them, "She went out looking for me, but then a guy came up to her and her, then I showed up and saved her then he was trying to kill us, mostly her. Then he threw me back and put her against the wall making her cough up blood" I said looking at Keith and Alex's face turn from sad to mad.
"So what your saying is she was beatin' up?" Keith asked looking at me with a confused look on his face, I nodded. I saw that Keith was clenching his fists, "Keith calm down, Dr. Stein will she be okay?" Alex said putting a hand on Keith's shoulder calming him down a bit then looking at Dr. Stein. "I think she will be" "See? No need to get mad about it, I know you want to kill that person because of what he did to our Meister" Marie looked at them, "Who are you?" She asked, "I'm Keith, and this is my twin brother Alex." Keith begun. "And we are Lexis's weapons" Alex finished while pointing at Lexis when he said her name, Marie nodded and looked back at Lexis, another moment later Liz and Patty came through the door. "Kid, is she okay?" Liz asked while Patty just held her hands together looking at Lexis, I nodded to let Liz know everything will be fine, and that she will be okay. She nodded, I looked over at Marie again and she was looking and my twin weapons. "Marie, these are my twin weapons Liz and Patty" I said pointing to each one of them as I said their name. "Hello" Liz said, and Patty just waved not looking at her, Marie waved back and got up leaving the room.
