On October 20th in field at Barnes farm. Family and friends were gathered. Bucky had his three best friends behind him as they took their spots by the minister.
The music began the girls walked down the aisle to "Heaven" by Kane Brown. Sawyer came down first with her cousin Brett. And pulling Clint and Wanda's little girl Ashlynn and Sam and Val's little boy Colyer in a wagon.
The girls walked down in navy blue dresses and sunflowers bouquets. Bucky looked up when "Speechless" by Dan + Shay. He saw his beautiful bride in her dress with her dad Bill by her side.
He smiled as tears fell. James looked at her and shook his head. All he saw in that moment was the little red head who was always wearing Winnie's veil when she would make Bucky play wedding and house with her.
"The couple has decided to write their own vows. So Ms Tatum you get to go first." The minister said
She unfolded her piece of paper and took the mic.
"James I promise to love you faithfully with all my heart. Which shouldnt been to hard cause I have loved you since we were 15 years old. You are my best friend and Im glad that I have always had you by my side. Since we were 5 years old you and I did everything together. From playing pretend house wedding and naps together you have been my person and I couldnt ask for a better friend lover and father to our daughter and we cant forget our angel baby in heaven. I love you James Buchanan I fall for you every day." She said
He wiped tears.
"Mckenna Barnes..My best friend my girl my always and forever. Its always been you the one girl I can always count on to have my back. My cheerleader my tiny dancer. I never want to be without you. You are my sunshine the love of my life. You have been since we were 15. I promise to take care of you to love you to always be here for you. I promise to love you in the bad times the good times and the in betweens. I promise to never leave you behind and to always share with you..I love you Mckenna Barnes" he said with a smile.
Winnie whispered "oh my god..he pulled his 5 year old vows out."
James laughed along with Bill and Abigail cause they knew what he said at 5. Mckenna and Bucky exhanged rings and sealed the day with a kiss.
Their first dance was "Angel" by Florida Georgia Line. Bucky spun her dipped her as he sang the song to her.
Bucky danced with Sawyer as Mckenna danced with her dad. They took a mini honeymoon to Gaitlinburg.
