Chapter 3.
After all the visits I did, I decided to have lunch in some restaurant. I went inside the city to find a good one, but not an expensive one. I saw a restaurant that made burgers and stuff like that so I decided to go into. It was not too full of people, better. I didn't like to be in closed spaces with a lot of people. I sat down next to one of the windows and waited until a waiter came. I ordered a burger and some chips with coke. It didn't take too long to arrive. I started eating. While I was eating, I kept thinking about what that girl told me before, I had to say she scared me a bit. Everyone in this town seemed to scare me, apparently. I took the coke to take a sip as I looked through the window. When I turned my face to it, I opened my eyes wide and put my glass on the table again. I saw Harry and those guys sitting outside at the same restaurant. They didn't see me, or that's what I thought. I turned around again and continued eating and doing as if I didn't see him. God, this kid was following me everywhere or what? It was scary.
I looked outside again surreptitiously but this time, he was looking right straight at me.
I saw how he took a napkin from the table and wrote "HI" and showed me. I looked serious. I opened my bag, I took a pen and wrote on another napkin "BYE :)" and showed him. I saw how all his friends laughed at him and he turned his head down. They continued eating and so did I. When I finished eating and I was about to pay, I saw this boy who was wearing stripes coming inside the restaurant and walking towards me.
"Hey Cristy" he said.
"Hey guy wearing stripes" I said holding my bag and getting up.
"Before you go.. take this" he said giving me a paper.
"What's this?" I said looking serious.
"a number in a paper" he said laughing.
"You don't say" I said giving the waiter the money for the food.
"I mean the number, of who is i?" I asked.
"Of who do you think it is?" He laughed more. I looked outside and saw Harry and the others looking at me.
"oh god.. He won't stop, right? Anyway tell Henry I won't call him but thanks" I told that boy while I went outside and he followed me.
"You're rude" he said behind me.
"I'm not rude, I'm just not an easy girl, you get it?" I said faking a smile and going home.
I said bye to them with my hand and I went back home. Harry was wrong if he tought I was going to call him. I wasn't that kind of girl plus he looked like a womanizer so I didn't trust him. I have to say I didn't have a lot of boyfriends. Just a few. But it all was a long time ago. I put my bag and the keys in the hall and I threw myself in the couch. Finally I was home. I was so tired that I fell asleep in the couch.
1am. I woke up and saw I was still on the couch. Fine, now I wouldn't sleep in all the night, I thought to myself. I got up and went to my room to change my clothes and wash my face, all the make up was out. When I came back to the living room, I heard my stomach calling. I was hungry so I decided to pick some food from the fridge and eat it. On my way to the living room, I saw this paper that this boy gave me with Harry's number. I took it and brought it with me to the couch. I sat down and looke at it while I ate.
"he thinks I'll call him, ha!" I said to myself. I left the paper on the table and finished my dinner. I decided to watch some TV until I could fall asleep. Unfortunatelly, that didn't happen until 4am.
