" Dazai questioned, his finger circling around with a sly grin. "Not everything american involves the guild, asshole." Ranpo gazed up at him. Keeping his eyes closed as he gave a disgusted look at dazai. " eh whatever. " dazai shrugged and put his arms around his neck, closing his eyes and walking back to his desk. After everyone staring at ranpo kenji got up and dashed over. "RANPO KUN! CAN WE GOO? <:" Kenji asked, he gave a giant smile of inspiration and interest. " ..psh- I'm not the president. " ranpo sighed. "And i dont see the point in buying anything because this isnt even our house, this is the agency.." Ranpo tilted his head and stretched.

" well maybe, we can buy our own stuff and bring it home at the end of the day? " atsushi added, looking over at ranpo curiously. "I said im not the president, take your questions to him." Ranpo huffed and spun in the other direction thanks to his wheelchair . "I find it a waste of time, we dont even know what it says." Kunikida mumbled, his gaze was locked towards his computer screen. " But it'll be fuunn!! " kenji yelled happily, spinning around. Tanizaki sighed and got up, going to the presidents office.

A few seconds of the agency going on and on about walmart, the president stepped in. Ranpo went quiet and his attention locked on the presidents. As everyone else kept talking, not noticing the president. "Thats enough." He president sternly said above all the noise. Everyone froze and looked at the president. Kunikida sat up and saluted. " Mr President? " he said in a questionable tone of voice, the president nodded and he sat down. He sighed. "Tanizaki came into my office and told me the reason you where fighting." His gaze drifted around the agency. " You should be disappointed in yourselves for fighting over a grocery store. " he left everyones gaze.

"I-i'm sorry, president.." Ranpo's eyes opened and stared down with disappointment , as did everyone else. He moved his hands to intertwine with his own. "As for my opinion of this, i do believe we can." Kenji smiled, dazai grinned, kunikida questioned the president , atsushi blinked, and kyouka was drinking tea while gazing up at the president. "But, only if you will work extra hard for when we get back. Kunikida slammed his head on the desk, having alot of things already to deal with. everyone else agreed somehow.

They arrived at the walmart, ranpo started making a phone call. "Who are you calling, ranpo-san?" Atsushi asked, walking up to him. " My friend Poe. He understands english well. " "is he from the guild?" " Yeah but i love him.. " he quickly noticed his mistake and blushed violently. "I MEAN LIKE- NOT LOVE-" He gasped before Edgar Allen Poe picked up. "H-Hey ranpo-kun! How are you?" he asked in a delighted tone. He was happy that ranpo called him, as he had been lonely most of the day. "Did you see the walmart that opened up?.. Well yeah, im at it.. Sense your from america, I'd like to ask if you could.. help me translate the things i want to buy?" Ranpo asked. Edgar made a cute squeak. " S-Sure! I'll be there in a second.. " Edgar said, quickly hanging up. Ranpo sighed to himself. "Well he sure seems to be in a hurry.."

After 5 minutes, ranpo saw edgar walking towards the walmart, edgar quickly noticing ranpo and walking up to him. "The agency is already inside." Ranpo reassured him. " Do you still want to go inside? " ranpo asked him, edgar was mostly scared of the agency, so ranpo had to ask him, as he had forgotten about asking him while in the call. He slightly nodded. "I cant believe a walmart somehow got here in yokohama!" Edgar exclaimed, pushing himself towards the walmart and gazing up at it. "Yeah yeah, can we get this over with? I want to buy some new chips." Ranpo sighed and looked over at edgar. " Oh sure! <: "

Ranpo and edgar walked into the store, the agency probably spread out as there was no one that they knew in sight. Ranpo blinked, clearly confused at all the english words. "You want chips, right?" Edgar asked. " Uh yeah. And some sugary drinks.. " ranpo added edgar nodded and pushed forward, looking up at a sign that was filled with english words ranpo couldn't understand, feeling for once really dumb. Edgar stopped suddenly. "This isle is the chips. Edgar stared at a isle that was in front of them. Ranpo quickly dashed into the isle, glancing around, searching for chips. Edgar scurried after him, his hair over his eyes slightly brushing away.

" The chips are h-here ranpo. " edgar said shyly as he went over to a area full of bagged chips. Ranpo ran over and gazed around before tapping a bag. "What does this say?" He questioned and stared at him. "Those are barbaqued chips." Edgar read. Ranpo quickly took them. After a while, edgar turned to him. "do you like salt and vinegar chips?" " Mhm! Love them. " Edgar took a packet before sliding over. "do you want these? Their chips even if they dont look like it. Ranpo came over and gazed at them. "Their called Cheetos. Their really good." Edgar announced to him, taking a bag for himself . "Hmmm, sure." Ranpo said, grabbing the cheetos and putting them in his bag.

" Now what kind of sugary drinks do you want? " Edgar asked. "uhh.. Do they have fizzy drinks?" " Of course. " edgar nodded and lead him to a isle where it had giant sized drinks, "Uh, this is pepsi and coke.. I think you have it in japan.. I dont know." edgars hand went over his eyes and rubbed his forehead a bit. "Oh cool! Can i have the canned version?" Ranpo asked, edgar nodded, grabbing both of the products and putting them in the bag.

"Is that all? I'll pay for the groceries." Edgar insisted . Before ranpo could say anything, kenji ran around the corner, startling edgar. "Ranpo-san! Whos you're friend?" Kenji asked before tilting his head. " My boyfriend. " ranpo quickly replied, edgar turned to him with a blushing, shocked gaze. Kenji stared at them for a moment before nodding. "Alright!" And dashed away, when he was gone, edgar was blushing like a maniac and shaking. " R-RANPO-KUN?! WHAT WAS THAT FOR?? " Edgar whisper yelled. "Im not telling him your a guild member." Ranpo sighed and tilted his head downward a bit. " lets just go..

Ranpo had his stuff bagged and ready to leave. "Bye edgar!" Ranpo yelled, due to the fact that edgar was walking away. Edgar stopped and blushed at how loud he addressed his name, but edgar slightly waved a goodbye and left. Ranpo started to walk towards the agency to try his food edgar helped him get.

Ranpo got back from the walmart to walk in to the agency, only see dazai there, reading a book and kunikida desperately trying to get his work done. Ranpo sat down at his desk and pulled out a soda can. Inspecting it for a moment before opening the can, fizz slightly coming out of the plastic can, gazing at it before drinking it

Later that day ranpo got a sugar rush
