Evie:
Mal was still limping a little as she walked, but she didn't show any sign of pain. I got to my feet and walked over to her. She cracked a smile and walked up to me. I pull her into a hug and wrap my arms around her shoulders.
"You should have called for me, I would've come help." I whisper into her hair. She giggles and shakes her head.
"I can handle myself. Thank you for offering though." She replies locking her hands around my waist. We stayed in each other's arms for a moment longer, until Hayden came up next to us.
"Sorry to break this up, but I think we have an issue." He says looking at the back of the building. Mal walks over to the edge and looks over.
"Evie, Jay, Carlos downstairs and block off the stairs. Hayden help me move the fire escape." Mal orders pointing in different directions. I look over at the boys and run downstairs. Jay and Carlos start pulling our decoy walls across the room. I rush around behind them drilling them to the floor. I hear the fire escape scrape across the wall past the windows. Looking over I see Hayden hanging from the roof pulling the large staircase along. I could hear Mal directing her brother along. I finished stabilizing the wall as the twins run down from the roof.
"The wall is done, is the escape hidden?" I ask looking over at Mal. She nods moving to the window. I join her and look at the street below. A group of eight men stood by the gate. One stood at the front with a large coat hanging form his shoulders.
"Is that-."
"Ardorot. How he found us, I have no clue. But what I do know, is that he isn't allowed to know we're here." Mal says moving back as one of the men look up to the window.

Mal:
We all stand around the room, as the gate creaks open downstairs. Eight sets of footsteps climb the stairs. I pull Evie behind me and she grips my hand. Jay has Carlos behind him, and Hayden is standing between me and Jay.
"Where are they?!" I hear Ardorot shout at someone. A loud bang from the wall, makes Evie jump. Her body is almost flush against mine, telling me she was terrified.
"I thought you said you saw her walk into this warehouse! Check the front doors, I want every room cleared before we move on!" Ardorot yells. Seven sets of footsteps go back down to the street, and Jay goes to speak.
"Th-." I clamp my hand over his mouth before he could say anything. A deep chuckle comes from the other side, my fears becoming reality.
"You can't stay in there forever kids. Your parents will be grateful that I have found you all. I will be waiting downstairs for when you run out of food." Hayden and I shiver at his dark tone. Footsteps make their way down the stairs, and I move my hand away from Jay.
I turn and see Evie had tears in her eyes. We had been caught in our own hideout. I pull her into my arms, and she buries her face in my neck.
"We're gonna be okay. We are just going to have to find somewhere else to meet up." I say drawing shapes along Evie's back. I let her go as everyone goes to sit on the sofa in the middle of the room.
"We know our parents don't like us sneaking out to meet up. So, I think the only way we are gonna be able to stay alive long enough to find another hideout, is by not leaving our houses after dark. We will still be able to see each other during the day we will just have henchmen watching our every move." I explain pacing around the room. Carlos shook his head in disagreement at my words.
"What if one of us is hurt, like you were today? We won't be able to help each other." Carlos says waving his hand in my direction. Jay looks over at the blonde.
"Mal's right. We have a better chance of surviving if we just do what they say. If we don't go against them it's less likely for us to be punished." The long-haired boy explains sitting up. Evie was silent the entire time the boys spoke. Her eyes were focused on the wall, telling me she was in her own little world.
"How long do you think we will have to be apart?" Carlos asks in a sigh. I cross my arms and think.
"A week or so. There are a few empty warehouses on the isle, but they are used for different things. I think our best bet would be the gate. The walls are hollow and have a ton of space in them. Me and Mal can check it out when Mom sends us out to deal with Jax." Hayden says walking into the room. Jax was one of the few people who lived on the outskirts of the isle. He lived in the gatehouse at the front of the island. Hayden grew to be good friends with the man and would usually bail him out of trouble with Mom.
I nod to my brother and look back over at Evie, who has now moved to the window.
"Boys go pack whatever we are going to need at the new place. We can put it in the cellar until we have another place." I instruct in a serious tone. They all nod and move to the other room, where we kept all our stuff. Once the door closes, I move over to where Evie was. I come up behind her and wrap my arms around her waist. She jumps a little before realizing who it is. She leans back into my shoulder and turns her head to look at me.
"Do you think we will ever get away from here? Will we ever get the chance to live a normal life away from our parents? Auradon could at least give us a fair chance." Evie says, her voice shaking.
"One day we are going to get out of here. Leave this Island and find a place to ourselves to live. Maybe not Auradon, but somewhere better than the Isle. I promise you we will get out of this life. But for now, let's have some fun reeking havoc" I whisper, looking into her watery eyes. She smiles at me and nods her head. I hear the boys come back in and let go of Evie's waist. We both turn to the boys and see all our bags piled against the wall.
"Are we ready to get out of here?" I ask looking at Hayden who was standing in front of the other two boys. He nods and grabs two bags.
"Boys grab whatever you can carry, E take the medical supplies. And always keep at least one weapon on you. I don't want to get caught by some pirate gang and be defenseless." I say putting a small sword in my belt. Everyone nods and grab what they needed and headed to the back of the building. Hayden had removed all the boards from the broken window and made a clear path for us to get out. The fire escape was right outside the window, ready for us to use it at any time. I sent Jay down first, along with Carlos. The two looked around the alley, not finding anyone.
"All good." Jay called out quietly. I turned to Hayden and Evie who stood behind me.
"Evie you go down next, I will follow right behind you. Hayden you know what you have to do?" I asked looking into my brothers striking blue eyes. He nods and puts a hand on my shoulder.
"I'll board the window and cover your guys' tracks. Then jump from the roof onto the neighboring building. Just make sure you guys move the fire escape before I get over there." He says in a stern voice. I smile at my twin brother, before moving to help Evie out the window.

Hayden:
I finish nailing the last board onto the window, before picking up my bag and running upstairs. On the roof I see Mal standing in the alley pushing the fore escape against the building next door. I chuck my bag to the other side, causing a thud when it lands.
"Thank god I did parkour with Jay." I mutter to myself before walking back a few feet. I begin to sprint toward the edge of the building. Forcing myself form looking down, I jump across the gap landing in a summersault. I get to my feet and take in a deep breath. I scramble to get my bag and run down the fire escape.
In the alley the gang was waiting. When I got down Mal handed me my sword and I put it back in my belt. She had taken it from me before she went down, to keep me from stabbing myself with it on accident. We nod to each other and start walking out of the alley. As excepted Ardorot and his men were sitting just outside the gate. They were all facing the other way, so we were able to sneak by easily.
We manage to get to the cellar at home without being caught. We put all the bags in the corner under a sheet, to limit suspicion. Everything Mom kept in the cellar were covered with sheets, so if anyone was to come down here, they would think nothing of it.
