Chapter 16: Rachel's Sick Day! [2/2]

A few hours in, the bluenette had awoken from her slumber; her eyes and face a crimson color. She noticed the TV had been turned on and her mercenare partner was off the bed and jamming to what it seemed to be... a song. He probably thinks she's still asleep because he has his back facing her. She quietly watched him dance, maybe tried to listen to the music he was playing. It was very upbeat, and the beat was changing from one to another. It also sounded like they were rapping.

"Woo! Made this here with all the ice on the booth! At the gate outside, when they pull up, they get me loose! Yeah, jump out boys, that's Nike boy, hoppin' out coupes." said the boy as he continued to dance.

She giggled at him rapping along to the lyrics. She's never seen him really rap before so she's enjoying this while she can.

Her nose is starting to feel better, though. Can't say the same about the rest of her face, though.
Soon after, the song ended and Ira began to stretch. It didn't take long for him to notice Rachel staring at him. He froze, his facial expression showing embarrassment.

"I see you're done with your song." Rachel told him.

Ira stiffened up, looking from the bluenette. "Uhm—did-did you see all of that?" he asked, stuttering.  She shrugged. "Maybe I did, maybe I didn't." Ira sighed and climbed on the bed again. "Ah... uhm... you... you didn't uh... pretend you didn't see that!" The 14 year old just bursted into laughter. Ira was very flustered by her laughing, he didn't appreciate her doing such. "Hey—STOP LAUGHING!" The laughing continued. Ira just say there, arms crossed and pouting.

"AHAH—I'm sorry it's just— that was so cute that it's funny!" she said in between laughs.

Ira just said nothing. He felt so embarrassed... Rachel pecked his cheek and smiled brightly. "You're a great dancer." She slid out of her bed and exited the room, while Ira just sat there still, flustered.

Later on, she came back in the room looking... better. What was she doing? She also came back with soup, and to her surprise, Ira was gone. She was confused, very. Where did he go? "Ira?" She called out. Don't tell me he was actually upset... She climbed back into bed and began eating the soup, waiting for Ira to come back.

Rachel: great chapter, though this one is quite short.

I'm thinking of discontinuing this book, though.

Everyone: AWWWW WHAT?! WHY?!

Eh, I really don't know what else to do with this book, and I'm running out of ideas. Plus, I really wanna start writing My Hero Academia stories!

Ira: you're abandoning us!!!

Well, no! You guys will forever be inside my heart. Maybe one day, I'll find the motivation to continue this! Don't worry...

Regina: But Ray-Chan...

I'm sorry you guys...

Maya: well, if this is what you want. Don't forget us ever, Ray-Chan!

I promise I won't.

MacKenzie: When will you discontinue?

Not sure, but it won't be soon. Maybe I'll write an ending chapter for it all.

Clara: Sounds good! Close off the book!

Mhm.

Marmo: Have fun, little squirt.

Bel: Yeah, what she said.
