(Butch's POV)
How I got here I don't know but maybe I was too drunk to even comprehend what was going on around me.
Money being thrown, with guys staring at almost naked girls dancing on a stage. Disgusting.
The heat of the whole club could be felt, and I was in the middle of it. All I could hear was the loud music, throbbing in my ears.
I wish I was somewhere else, maybe at home, or maybe at my office. Anywhere else.
My brothers decided to drag me all the way across town to just go to a club, while I'd rather be staying home, maybe with a book or something.
They were always this way, when I was younger they'd stay out all night, going to bars and drinking an uncontrollable amount of alcohol. The thought repulses me.
My mother always said I was the more sensitive and well-composed brother out of them, that's why I'm the heir to my father's company.
'Yo, I got you this super cool ticket.' Brick said, interrupting my thoughts. He waved a piece of paper in front of me. I froze: 'Do I take it?' I ask with uncertainty.
He rolled his eyes, 'I can take it if you want, I took you here anyway,' he said, I thought he seemed a bit off, until he added his next sentence ' apparently this hot girl comes and gives you a lap dance. The ticket was pretty expensive, better use it on someone who'd appreciate it more.'. He gave a quick shrug and headed to the corner of the club.
Boomer looked back at me with unsure eyes.
'Fine I'll take it.' I said to Brick loudly, if this is what makes him happy, so be it. I'd rather I was in there instead of my pervy brothers.
Brick looked back with a big grin on his face, 'That's my boy.' He said, handing me the 'ticket' and pushing me off towards a door.
I walked into the room to find some sort of reception. The fuck. I gave him my ticket, expecting him to say something but instead he just showed me to a room.
It was dark, but had a hazy purple light to it, and there was this odd seeming of a curtain.
Who ever has to dance for me, bless you.
I looked at my Rolex, it was 1:29 in the morning. I sat down in the couch provided. It was pretty comfy, to say the least.
I saw the man walk back to my room, and a quick shadow pass him.
'You got the best one today, have fun with her.' He shouted before turning back and closing the door.
Suddenly the curtains were drawn back, revealing a girl with big curves wearing some sort of two piece. She wore a mask, covering the top of her face. The girl had loose black hair, framing her face. She seemed pretty athletic to me, but why would someone athletic do something like this?
She walked up to me, and kneeled down to me.
'What's your name pretty boy?' She asked seductively, creeping her hands up next to where I was, getting closer and closer.
'Butch.' I answered, looking away.
I felt her flinch, but I couldn't see her do it.
'You really don't have to do this, I don't care.' I added.
She pushed back confused, 'What do you mean?'
'I mean, you don't have to do this whole dance.' I explained.
She didn't reply, her emerald eyes widened, they looked familiar, but not enough to make me know who she was.
'I'll give you money, just go. I don't care.' I said.
She stood up, speechless.
'I can't.' She finally said.
'I can't accept your money. I don't understand what's going on.' She added.
'I'm not asking for anything at all, I just want you to go.' I answered, I took out a wad of money and pressed it into her hand.
'Wait what? No one's ever done this before. Are you ok?' She asked.
'Yeah whatever, umm I'm going.' I responded, I headed to the door, but felt a hand on my shoulder.
It was the girl again.
'It's not my position to ask, but when you said that your name was Butch, you meant it right?'
She asked, the look she gave me looked as if she was scared of something.
'Yeah, of course.'
'Butch Jojo?' She added, I didn't tell her my last name, why would she know? I'm not famous, I'm just working under my family, unless it was those few interviews which gave it away.
'Umm yeah that's my name.' I replied.
She slowly took her mask off, and I instantly recognised her. Her long curled tresses lay on her shoulder.
'It's me, Buttercup.' She smiled forcefully, I felt like she was holding back tears.
It was her who left me not the other way around, why is she the one crying when I should be.
A long time ago, we were together, happy as any couple would be. We did soccer and even had lessons together, but one day she left. Apparently she dropped out out of the blue, she didn't tell me why, she never did. I tried to text her and call her, only to be told that she wasn't replying or picking up.
I was torn and broken.
But now I'm not.
'Why are you here?' I asked.
'I never really told you why I left huh.' She replied, looking downwards sadly.
She sat me down on the couch.
