Over the next few days, Yukiko was unconscious as Tobirama never left her bedside - constantly bringing his work inside her room so that he could keep an eye on her while getting his work done. His brother had teased him about it, saying that he loved her, to which Tobirama vehemently denied. It's only been a few days, how could he even think to fall in love with her that fast?!
He always replied with the same thing - that he was just keeping an eye on her so that she wouldn't try anything once she woke up, to which Hashirama laughed at before waving him off and leaving him alone at last.
Tobirama sighed for the nth time that day as he nursed his aching head from doing his brother's paperwork. He then turned to look outside, and was shocked to see that it was already dark! He quickly got up, scurrying to the kitchen to prepare some food for Yukiko and himself. He got out the fresh fish he had caught a few hours ago from the river near the compound before getting to work on cooking it.

Yukiko slowly opened her eyes with difficulty as she let out a painful groan. Everything hurt! She tried raising her arms - but saw that she couldn't even lift a finger. She let out a sigh as she continued to stare at the white ceiling, trying to collect her jumbled thoughts on Madara.
She really did truly love him. But did he even hold her in his heart that seemed to shut everyone ; even Izuna out? She thought that his attitude and actions towards her meant something.....was it all just her wishful thinking since she loved him so much?
Yukiko quickly shut those thoughts out, knowing she would cry if she continued to think about it further as she struggled to sit up, not wanting to lay down any longer. It was at that moment Tobirama walked in, as he quickly placed the food bowls down by the table before rushing to her side and helping her.
"Thank Tobi." Yukiko murmured gratefully as she pushed her long, white hair to the side since it was getting in her face before shooting Tobirama a smile. Tobirama gave her a silent nod before picking up one of the food bowls. He scooped up a spoonful of rice before bringing it up to her mouth, signalling for her to open it with a nod of his head as a light blush dusted his cheeks at his actions.
Yukiko chuckled at this as she ate it before letting out a small squeak as Tobirama jumped and handed her the glass of water. "W-what's wrong? Is it not good?" Tobirama asked as she gulped down the water before letting out a giggle. "No no, it was just kinda hot to swallow." Yukiko answered awkwardly as Tobirama mentally smacked himself for not thinking of that earlier.
'Of course it's too hot, it just got off the grill! Why am I such an idiot?!'
Tobirama then picked up another spoonful of rice and fish, making sure to blow on it to cool it down before giving it to her.
Now, it was Yukiko who was shy as she accepted his food, munching on the delicious flavours of the fish. "I never knew you were such a good cook Tobi!" Yukiko cheerfully commented as he continued to feed her.
"Kaa-san taught me to cook, saying that if I ever had a...............wife in the future, I would need to learn how to and treat her right." Tobirama whispered the last part as he blushed a deep red now ; Yukiko's cheeks matching his as she slapped them to try and get the colour out.
"A-ah, I see! Well then, your future wife will be very lucky to have a husband such as yourself!"
"I guess so." Tobirama replied as he poured her another glass of water before picking up his own rice bowl and began eating.
Yukiko secretly observed his profile as he ate.
Now that she's seeing him up close, he was actually very good looking with his silvery-white hair, charming crimson eyes and semi-sharp jawline as he chewed on his food. He was also quite muscular, as Yukiko could see the outlines of his muscles through his black, long-sleeved shirt as she quickly turned her sight elsewhere.
"Is there something on my face?"
"E-eh?!"
Yukiko was quickly brought out of her thoughts by Tobirama's innocent question as she vigorously shook her head, her cheeks flushed as she stuttered through what she was going to say.
"I-I w-was just u-um, l-l-looking at t-that table behind y-you! Yeah!"
Tobirama sweatdropped at her obvious lie, but decided not to question her about it as he finished eating before helping her lay down again.
"You should get some more rest. Your body's probably still not fully recovered yet. We'll talk more in the morning."
Yukiko gave a soft nod as Tobirama wished her good night before turning around. But just before he left her side, Yukiko caught his hand.
"Ne....Tobi? Thanks......for everything."
Yukiko gave him her best smile as he felt his heart melt just a tiny bit at the sight as he gave her a small smile of his own.
"It's fine."
