Vinny looked at his phone, standing outside the almost filled church, he smiled as some family members walked by, and entered the church. All the pews were almost filled , Scratching his head , he took a deep breathe in , puffing his chest out, he looked at the ground , and shuffled his left foot on the gravel, Fixing he tux he slipped into the church, making his way up to where his family stood. The church was beautifully decorated white lilies everywhere, and green ribbons tied in elegant bow on the pews and around each lily, the same colour as Victoria’s eyes, D’Angelo stood in the middle laughing with Aldo and Ignacio, Vinny swallowed , and walked over to his brother, looking nervously at D’Angelo, he sighed putting his hand on his shoulder. D’Angelo turned around smiling, but his face fell when he saw Vinny’s.

“What’s wrong?”

“B.B. she knows…” Vinny’s face was pulled into a sad expression, D’Angelo stood shocked trying to understand what Vincent had just told him, his eyes searched Vinny’s desperately for answers , D’Angelo walked over to his father.

“Papa,” His dad turn around and looked at his youngest son’s face, drinking in his expression, his expression softened a little, “Papa, She knows,” D’Angelo’s eyes started to water a little, a lump in his throat, D’Angelo knew this meant there wasn’t going to be a wedding after this, he knew that Victoria probably didn’t want anything to do with him, ‘She deserves so much better’ he mentally kicked himself , he slowly walked over to the nearest pew , as if he was in a dream, and sat down , carefully , placing his hands on his face, and putting his head between his knees. D’Angelo’s mother came over and stroked her sons face, and squeezed his shoulder,

“Tony..?” Julie asked as she comforted her baby boy, she looked up at her husband for an answer , but he just shock his head , and pulled out a cigar , and sauntered out of the church , as Julie pulled her son in for a hug telling him it was going to be okay.

Tony stood puffing on his thick cigar. Tony was a big broad man, the type you avoid at all costs, with tanned skin, and big brown eyes, big dark eyebrows, and usually a frown etched onto his worn expression, his jaw was very pronounced, and the wrinkles were becoming a permanent feature on the man’s face. Tony was a tall guy , around 6ft 3inches, and very broad, Back in his day, he was the stud, the one every girl wanted , the charmer and sweet talker, the bad boy and all of thee above, Tony was your average player, ‘hump it and dump it ’ was his motto up until he was 26 , Tony went on a trip to England for 3 years, to study at the universities there , and learn better English, A beautiful 42 28 42 figure, brunette with big blazing blue eyes, and the sweetest lips ever seen, her wit and sense of humour was what Tony first heard , along with her soft voice, he continued to be a player for a while after he met her, but he only had eyes for this one girl, Julie. So he chased her , and it was the most exciting chase of his life, Tony loved it , she didn’t make it easy for him, but eventually they got together , she was only 20 when she met Tony, the were married after 2 years together, and a another 2 years of bliss and a clean house , they had their boys.

Now Tony was into his fifties, almost sixty, but who’s counting?! Tony strolled over to the quaint little bench surrounded by cherry blossom, he was deep in thought when his 3 eldest sons walk out and over to him, Vinny’s bow tie undone.

“Boys…” he said in his gruff Italian voice , he had the now short cigar hanging from between his teeth as he rubbed his face, pulling it out of his mouth he looked around his sons, “We’ve got , a , eh, how do I put this gently, a situation? Yeah, a situation,” he scratched his chin, “She knows.”
