Erza stared at the weeping girl kneeling infront of her. She felt frozen, surprised to the sudden request.

"Clara, stop this-", "No!" Candy interrupted her friend after she tried rushing to her.

"You weren't worth it Candy."

The statement forced her to stop.

Tears started rolling down Claras cheeks again, "But now I will fix it, I won't be a burden to you and just maybe Juvia will forgive me too!" the green haired girl cried.

She pulled on Erzaz pants, "I'm sorry!"

Erza made her katana disappear and slowly sunk down to her knees. "There must be another way, you don't need to throw away your life like this."

The green haired girl lowered her head and tears rolled down her cheeks, "I don't know any," she murmured.

Erza reached out her hand, "We'll look for it together."

Clara looked up to see the girl flashing her an encouring smile.

Who are these people? She asked herself.

A second ago this girl was fighting Candy so desperate to free her friend..

And now she had decided to forgive the very girl that started this mess.

Clara smiled, "You people are too good."

She was glad Juvia had such great friends and was grateful for having met her.

A memory flashed in her mind, Juvia wanting to avenge Candy for her. Fighting the Fairy Tail mages together.

She had fed Juvia false memories about their relationship but she still felt that Juvia had just tried to support her...

That's why she didn't regret anything. Maybe there was a way to take the curse off of Juvia without going to such extremes, but she didn't know them. And she had to act now.

Juvia would be currently with that dark haired man and her other friends. If she regains her memories now, maybe they'll be able to escape.

She smiled to herself sadly,

"My part ends here."

In the blink of an eye, Clara summoned a blade made out of dark mist and forced it through her chest. 

"No!" She heard Candy scream. Erza stumbled from shock and her eyes widdened.

Clara spat some blood, the pain was unbelievable. Growing inside her. But she was still smiling, tasting the metal on her lips.

"Candy-chan," she moved her head to look at the girl staring at her in disbelief, "I'm sorry I was not good enough. I hope you'll find someone-"

Another cough with blood interrupted her.

She winced in pain but didn't stop looking at her girl, "I hope you'll find someone who will fight for you...", she looked back at Erzas scared face, "Just like you all do for Juvia."

Claras vision started to blur and she felt all her powers leave her body, she fell down and darkness started to slowly fill her.

The last thing she saw, was Candys torn body trying to reach her before she closed her eyes for good.

She hoped Juvia was alright again.

Gray held Juvias hand on his torso and looked for any sign of the old Juvia in her blank eyes. She closed them and took a deep breath. Then slapped his hand away.
