WWE NXT : Orlando
(Brandon POV)
Ok, so I had just finished a match for the show and I'm walking back to my locker room to get my stuff and go, but something caught my attention. It sounded kinda like crying, I wasn't to sure though. The sound grew as I kept walking and soon enough I found the source of the crying. A blond haired women's superstar named Liv Morgan. She was definitely under stress.
"E-Excuse me... Miss Morgan... I saw that you were troubled and I thought I'd help a fellow superstar out. What's wrong?"
She slowly lifted her head. I could see the tears in her eyes.
"Y-you know Enzo... Enzo Amore?"
"Yeah, you two used to be together right?"
"Yeah... used to... he... he cheated on me."
I immediately sat down next to her and hugged her as she cried into my shoulder.
"I'm so... so sorry this happened to you Liv. I've been through what you're going through now. Trust me, it sucks, but if it makes you feel any better... I'll try and help you as best I can."
"Thanks...wait it happened to you too?"
"Yeah, this girl I knew before joining this company. Me and her started a relationship and things were going well until she took my car, took half my funds and most importantly broke my heart in the process."
"Holy crap! Sounds like a mess. I'm sorry that happened."
"Yeah... that shit changed me. Since then I've been on the single side of life since while eventually joining WWE."
We both sighed and relaxed recollecting our thoughts. I soon had to leave to go drive back home which wasn't that far away, but before I could she clung onto my leg nearly causing me to fall.
"Hey wait! Thanks... for this... um I know all this is probably weird but... I know we'll probably make good friends seeing as we both kinda went through the same things and such. What do ya say?"
"Y-Yeah of course! Sounds like a decent idea!"
I instinctively stuttered taking this in. She really seemed genuine and I had a feeling this would be worth the shot.
"Sweet, NXT Buddies?"
"NXT Buddies!"
I said in return as we high fived and left each other. Honestly after what happened with my ex and keeping it inside for so long, it felt good to finally talk to someone who would listen and understand, and I knew deep down that it felt good for her too.
At the time her and I were basically doing tune up match until the higher ups found a storyline for us. So basically a mixture of that and training was my career at the moment.
She even followed me on my Instagram and Twitter whilst liking a few of my posts.
It was nice to be a helping hand even though we just met and all that. Some may say I was in the right place, at the right time.
Little did I know this would start a thing that I'd never regret doing.
