(DORI POV)

So... this is what they do in their spare time... alright... let's give this a shot.

So after Brandon and his new buddy disposed of Gionna's ex and his seven foot counterpart, and the amazing dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings with Rebecca and Seth joining in, I woke up the next day at the house. I was the first to wake up while everyone else was fast asleep so I made myself some morning coffee while listening to some music through my AirPods.

As I was relaxing outside on the balcony behind the house, I got a phone call that I wasn't expecting.

"Hello?"

"Hey Dori, it's Hunter. Do you know if Brandon is available? I tried calling him but it went straight to voicemail a couple times."

"Oh, hey boss. Yeah, I'm the first one awake over here so he's probably still asleep. I-I could pass a message on to him when he wakes up if you want."

"That's okay, the higher ups made a decision that technically applies to all four of you guys."

"Really?"

"Yes actually... we're planning on splitting the Riott Squad after WrestleMania..."

My heart nearly broke at that announcement, those guys were my family and I bet they'd be heartbroken to hear the news.

"Is that so..."

"Yeah... sorry guys, it just wasn't working really with this whole four person group running around doing what you guys do."

"Wait... four person group... not working... what about your group... evolution?"

"That was a different time... things change."

I took a deep breath as he continued.

"I'm sorry... it's out of my control. If it were me, I'd keep y'all together but..."

"It's okay..."

I said trying not to break down on the phone.

"See you back at work."

"See ya."

I hung up, held the phone close to my heart and cried softly for a bit. This whole squad thing changed my life. I've had so much fun with these guys. I'd even consider them my family. I couldn't imagine how the others were gonna take it. Little did I know, Gionna woke up.

"Rue? A-are you ok?"

I slowly looked up to see my pink haired partner in crime with a worried look on her face.

"I-I just got off the phone with Hunter. He said the higher ups want the Riott Squad to split up."

"What!?"

Liv nearly screamed, I shushed her to avoid waking the other two.

"Pipe down will ya? ...okay yes... the executives had a meeting with him and he told me that they said that they don't want the squad together anymore."

I said trying to keep the tears in as we hugged.

"Wha... what about Brandon... that's gonna tear him apart."

"What about me?"

We looked up and saw him standing in the doorway, he must've woken up and heard us talking. Liv engaged him.

"B... it's the higher ups... they want to the squad to split up..."

"W-what? I thought Hunter liked the whole squad ide-"

"It wasn't his choice to make."

She cut him off putting a hand on his shoulder.

"The higher ups agreed on it and he had no other choice, after Mania... I guess the Riott Squad is coming to and end..."

She said nearly breaking down as all three of us embraced in a group hug. Sarah soon woke up and was informed of what the rest of us already knew...

An Era was over...
(END POV)

(BRANDON POV)

After the hug, the other two went to make breakfast while I sat on the balcony with Dori spending some time with who was soon to be my former teammate. For about half and hour we just talked about whatever came to mind and just... hung out like to friends would do. It was... relaxing.

"Man... I can't believe it's over"

I said with a sigh.

"Wait... what if it doesn't have to be over..."

"Hm?"

I perked up, listening to what Dori had in mind.

"I mean, he didn't say anything about us leaving the house, so all of us could still hang out whilst on our separate schedules."

"I-I guess you're right, well then, I guess it's not a complete loss."

I chimed in.

"Yeah... we just won't be seeing each other as often."

She looked down at picture of us on her phone from when I was in the hospital and teared up. I soon caught a glimpse at what she was looking at. To say I got chocked up was an understatement.

"That was a hard moment to get through..."

"Yeah... I can't speak for Gionna, but it was hard to look at ya in that state, all broken and bruised. The fact that we couldn't do anything sucked even more."

"Yeah... but look at me now, I'm nearly 100%, I've taken out the two bastards that did to me, and I'm ready for whatever comes my way next... thanks to you guys."

"It was an honor... you know... I kinda consider the four of us to be like a family in some way."

"Well we are... basically... I mean with the amount of things we've done together..."

"Yeah..."

She looked out at the mountain tops where the sun hit.

"... I wouldn't have it any other way."

She said as we hugged again.

Gionna had just finished her breakfast, and even made some for us with the help of Sarah, as she walked out on to the balcony where we were.

"Oh, sorry am I interrupting something?"

"No you're good G, you're good."

"Cool, alright well as you guys were having a moment out here, me and Sarah made you two some breakfast."

"Awe babe you didn't have to."

"Yeah but I did."

She said with a smile as we kissed and sat down next to us as we ate and chatted. Dori even shared her revelation wither as we finished and got ready for whatever the day through at us.

So what if they split the Riott Squad in terms of WWE, you can split us in the ring, but you can't, and won't break up the Riott Squad outside of it.

And that's the truth.
