Safe to say Christmas was an absolute success. Liv non stop played around with her pig and she even insisted that we got him some toys and stuff to play with. After I spent most of the day post Xmas cleaning up the house, it was time to get back to training. We split up into two groups as Sarah and Dori trained together whilst Gionna and myself trained together. The other two went to a planet fitness nearby because they both had memberships, and we trained together in the at home gym setup we had.

It wasn't much, but it worked. Anyways, 30 minutes of cardio and weightlifting later, we made protein shakes and relaxed waiting for our cohorts to arrive home. Little did we know, they bought fireworks for a New Years celebration.
We then heard the front door open as Dori and Sarah walked in.
"Hey guys! Enjoy your workout?" I asked turning around on the couch.
"Yep! We even got a little something for our little new year's celebration."
She said she and Sarah showed us the stacks upon stacks of fireworks they acquired for the night.
"All right! We can fire 'em off in the backyard but someone has to keep track of the countdown."
Liv chimed in.
"Actually I remember putting a TV/ lounge area back there so we could just watch that and wait."
I replied as I turned on the tv and switched it to the proper channel.
5 MINUTES TO MIDNIGHT
After cooking up dinner and taking around for a bit, we were back around the tv waiting for the ball drop. We laid out all of the fireworks they had bought for us and got a few ready to launch. As the clock winded down, all of us grabbed a firework and waited in anticipation.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
We all screamed loudly as we lit all the fireworks and shot them into the night sky, then we let the rest of them loose. It was perfect.
After everything calmed down, I was left sitting on a chair staring out into the night. It was something I just liked doing at times, and it just helped me think. Soon I hear footsteps behind me. I turned around to see Gionna walking towards me.
