Next day,
Preeta was in the blanket, completely numb with her eyes open and tears falling
Karan, who just woke from his sleep, turned a bit and saw Preeta who was facing on the other side
He tried to recall the last night but was not able to do so. He sat on the bed, wore his shirt and touched Preeta
Preeta, with his touch, wiped off her tears, closed her arms around her chest and folded her legs in the blanket
She was scared, she closed her eyes and didn't turn
Karan moved a little towards her and saw her sleeping
He stood up from the bed and went in the washroom
Preeta clutched the blanket and pulled it more close to herself trying to cover herself properly
Karan came out of the bathroom and saw her sleeping. He went in his room (in the farmhouse)
Preeta turned a little back watching him go out
She stood up carefully covering her body with the blanket and went in the washroom
The four walls of the bathroom were now used to her tears and pain.
She stood under the shower and saw the marks all over her body. She saw herself in the mirrot and was feeling disgust with herself .
Karan came back into the room, looking for her. He heard the showers's voice that was coming from the bathroom and again moved out, closing the door behind him
Preeta came out of the washroom, wearing the same clothes she was wearing the previous day and tied her hair in a rough bun
She moved towards the door with the hope that it would open and gently pushed it
To her surprise, it was not locked.
She moved out of the room just to see the sunshine that was coming from the huge window in the lobby after a long time. She had been locked in a room for many years and had not seen the outside world
Karan, who was sitting at the table, eating his breakfast saw her
Preeta, who was not able to open her eyes due to the sunrays could not see him
She walked towards the window and kept her hand on it, looking out at the huge swimming pool which was surrounded by trees
Karan ate his food while looking at her back
Preeta turned back and saw karan who was seeing her
She again turned towards the window not being able to face him
He kept the utensils back in the kitchen and moved towards her
Preeta, who was looking outside did not see him coming.
She turned to see if he was still there and was shocked to see him standing right at her back
Karan : khaana kitchen mein rakha hai. Khaa lena
He said this, turned back again left for his office
Preeta was confused with his attitude of being both a monster and a caring person
She walked towards the kitchen and saw the food packed properly for her
She stood up on the stool, and took out a plate for herself
She was eating proper food after many years. Or else, she was just given one stale chappati and a glass of water to survive a whole day and that too was missed sometimes.
She saw a staircase in the house and walked up to that, exploring the house and looking carefully
She saw a room which was locked and tried to find the keys to that room
Screen froze
I'm hardly getting any response. Please tell me if it's so boring. :(
I'll stop writing this one. coz it takes a lot of efforts :-(
