Preeta opened her door quietly, listening to the loud shouts
She peeped out of her room and saw karan sitting at the chair with his head down
Mihika : bolo karan, kya galti hai uski?
Karan : Mai nhi jaanta! Par mai jab bhi uske saath hota hu, Mai sab bhul jaata hu.
Mihika : tum to Sab bhul jaate ho. Par kabhi socha hai uspe kya beet ti hogi? Jo tumhari behen ke saath hua tha, tum wahi uske saath kar rahe ho!
Preeta thought : aisa kya hua tha inki behen ke saath?
Same flashbacks again come in his mind
A voice of a girl : bhaiya I love you
Tieing a rakhi on his hand, she smiled widely
A young boy : chutki, Mai hamesha tumhari raksha karungi
The small girl hugged him

Karan held his head and shouted loudly
Preeta was scared
She closed her room and sat quietly
Karan with pain : kya karu Mai? Kaise bhul jau wo sab? Jo uske saath hua. Meine usse kho diya. Kuch theek nhi ho sakta ab. Kahan kahan nhi dhunda meine usse. Par (he looks down)
Mihika cupped his face : bachha, Jo uske saath hua, ham usse badal nhi sakte, par jo iss ladki ke saath ho raha hai, hum usse badal sakte hai.
Karan nods quietly
Karan stood up and went towards preeta's room
As he opened the door, fear arose in preeta
Preeta looked at mihika pleadingly
Mihika assured her with her eyes
Karan closed the door
Preeta moved back
She closed her eyes due to fear
She was shocked when he didn't touch her
She opened her eyes slowly, just to see him sitting on the floor with his head down
She moved towards him and sat beside
With hesitation, she kept her hand on his shoulder
He, who was completely broken hugged her tightly
Preeta tried to move back feeling uncomfortable
Karan sobbing : I'm sorry
Preeta was shocked to see him crying for the first time
Karan clutched his hands more tightly : mujhe maaf kardo
Preeta moved back pushing him being afraid
Karan fell on the floor
He sat and touched her shoulder
Preeta crawled back
Her back hit the wall
Karan : Mai kuch nhi karunga.. (he ved towards her slowly) trust me. Mai kuch bhi nhi karunga tumhe
Preeta was not able to trust him. She tried to get up
Karan looked down and stood up. He moved outside the room without looking at her and closed the door
Preeta felt relieved and breathed heavily, crying
Karan : wo darti hai mujhse
Mihika : wo to hai.. Tumhe usse Khud par vishwas dilana hoga.
Karan : kaise?
