Supergirl's sister?!

I felt like a mother to her. I want to raise her as my own! tomorrow's a new day.

Maddie's POV

I sleeping but not where I fell asleep. I was sleeping in kara's bed! I really didn't want to cause any trouble so now I feel bad.

I woke up and kara was not there so I go to the kitchen to see her cooking me and her breakfast.

"hey sleepy head, you ready for breakfast." she asked. "sure... But i feel like I'm being too selfish, I don't want to be a burden here." "what?! you are not a burden here. I promise you are welcome here for as long as you like!" kara said sternly.

"really?!" "of course." kara gave her a quick hug and got back to cooking.

10 minutes later

we're eating our food that kara made for us and I was feeling so welcomed. But the next few words that came out of my mouth was too soon.

"hey kara.." "yes?" kara said. I looked down at my hands and started figeting  with them. kara noticed my hands. " is something wrong." when she asked me that I stared to have tears falling from my face as I looked up.

"hey, hey" kara cooed. she moved over to me and hugged me. "I've felt so welcomed here and I feel better then I have in my entire life. I feel loved. welcomed. i have a question, but be honest." "of course anything"

"will you be my mom?" she asked. kara's face was shocked. "of course you won't, itsokayifyoudontwantto."
I spill my words out so fast i didn't breath while doing it.

"no, no of course I'll be your mom! I would be so happy. I'll just have to sign the adoption papers today!" I shot up in excitement were I was jumping like a little kid.

I calmed down and hugged kara so tight I feel like she could've gotten hurt even if she has superpowers.

"and after I sign the papers we will go to the store to get you new clothes and stuff for your room, then I will train you!" kara said. she planned the whole day out and it was perfect.

"i have gotten to go to clothes stores because my m-sara made me stay home and she got me whatever. And half the things didn't fit me." I said.

"listen, i will not at all, treat you like they did. they were monster and nothing is going to hurt you. you mean the world to me now, okay." kara said those words and I almost started crying.

we embraced in a hug and headed to the store for clothes.

2 hours later

we just finished shopping and we are now on our way to the DEO for some training kara promised.

we get to the DEO and we head into this room and then she turns on this green light. I had no idea what it was.

"take off you necklace. it will help you embrace your powers." kara commanded. i listened and took it off and put it on the side of the platform.

once I took it off I felt strong but week. I hated the green light now but I still didn't know what it was. I started feeling dizzy but go back up.

"these you kryptonite lights, they will keep you normal in fighting but it won't hurt you so much because it's on I lower level." I shook me head in agreeing.

then we start training.

1 hours later

we finished training and I was exhausted. on the other hand kara was fine! "you did good in there for your first try. it's a start!" "thanks" I said back. "now let's go sign these adoption papers!" kara said so happy.

we get to the adoption place and kara get a bunch of papers to fill out. she signs every one of them and hugged me in suprise. "your now my daughter." kara said about to cry. I start to cry into her shoulder where it left tear marks on her shirt.

we were both happy, and I was so happy, I felt welcomed. now I have a person that will love me and care for me. how did I get here?!
