First Days Are The Worst

Maddie's POV

I walked into school and I could see side eyes of everyone staring at me. I walked to my locker and then I saw zoe. I ran into her arms and we both were laughing.

"I missed you so much" we say in unison which makes us laugh even harder.

"how have you been?" she asked that question and I just stared info her beautiful green eyes. she snapped me out of my gaze.

"hello, earth to maddie!" she said. "oh sorry i-i just missed you s-so much." I said studdering. "well I missed you too"

we walked to out first class but now had to go the other way because we only had one class together. "see you 4th period!" I yelled down the hallway. she gave me a thumbs up while she was almost late to her first class.

It got to 4th period and it was choir. I sat down and saved a seat for zoe to sit next to me.

I look around for a second and I don't know anyone In this class until my worst nightmare walked in.

Hanna. hanna burt. she bullied me the last time I went to school. she almost does the same things my old parents did to me. so this hurt me to have a class with her.

she used to kick me and call me names constantly. one time she took me into a bathroom stall and cut the side of my neck and my arm. it hurt but I was getting used to it because my parents did it to me as well as she did but worse.

she sat die behind me and as she sat down she glared at me. she go closer to me from behind and whispered into my ear. "see you after class. dyke" that sent shivers down my spine.

thank god zoe walked in after that. she sat in the seat i saved for her and then the bell rang.

the class ended and I didn't want to get up out of my seat cause i was afraid of Hanna doing something later.

I finally get up and zoe says goodbye to me and I give her hug. she leaves and I start heading to my next period.

so far nothing has happened with Hanna as I'm walking to my next class. But i was walking past the bathroom until someone pulled me by the arm into the bathroom.

kara's POV

"she was about to cry alex! I don't know what is wrong and she won't tell me!" I say worriedly to my sister. "it's okay just talk to her after school, im sure she will open up soon." I nod and I hope things are going well at school so far.

I got a message about a robbery so I head out of the DEO and I go do my job. I just can't wait for maddie to go home later and tell me about her first day back at school.

maddies POV

I get thrown into the bathroom by none other then Hanna and her minions. "please don't do this!"
"heard what happened to you, about your adoptive parents. they had to leave you sooner or later. because you don't deserve a family. your a piece of trash, and I know your dirty little secret. tell anyone about this and I'll tell the whole school about you. And you don't want that."

she says all this in an evil tone. she grabs the front of my shirt and throws me into a stall. she starts to cut my arm like the other time. she also rolled up my leggings I wore and cut my thigh. I yelled but no one heard me.

I wanted to use my powers so bad but I didn't because I was told not to. And i was afraid if I did kara wouldn't like me anyone. so I contained myself.

she let go while her and her minions were laughing. they left that bathroom to go to there class. when they left the bell rung.

"great late on your first day" i say to myself. I know how to bandage myself up because this happeneds to much to me before.

I finish the day in pain. And I hope kara won't notice the scars. I'll try to hide my pain from her. I can't tell her, I just cant.

ooooooo 2 stories in one day! how lucky are u guys😋 this was kind of a sad one sorry. I have a lot in store for this book and I'm so excited for you guys to read it!♡♡
