Maddie's POV

I woke up next to kara in her bed. she didn't want me to be sleeping on an uncomfortable couch. so I agreed to sleep with her.

I decided to try and make some breakfast for kara and me. I did do some cooking in school for a while, but then something happened that was not to be called for.

I wanted to make some pancakes and toast. I was starting to make the pancakes first and then put the toast in the toaster. once I finished making everything I got some orange juice out for the beverage.

It was like it was planned, because kara came out right when I was done setting the table for her.

she came out in shock. "you didn't have to do this."
"yes I did, you took me in and this is the least I could do."
"thanks you!" she said still in shock and then she walked over to give me a tight hug.

"so how was last night, no nightmares." she asked.
"no. I was just so happy last night to have anything go wrong at that moment."
"that's good!"

the rest of the morning was kind of silent. But then kara asked the thing that I didn't want to here.

"so how about I sign up for school today and you can go to school tomorrow?"
"Can i please be home schooled I hate school." I beg
"I'm sorry I can't, I have three jobs, catco, supergirl, and you. I can't teacher you on top of that. I'm sorry but you have to." she gave me a kiss on the top of my head and walked away to her room to change for today.

I really don't want to go to school. my bully is still there and she will stop at nothing to hurt me. But on the bright side I get to see zoe! I haven't seen her in sooo long.

I miss her so much. she has been my friend since I got adopted by my other parents. when I saw her I honestly didn't know what feeling I had. it was weird.

I stared to grow feelings for her after 1 year with her as my friend. But i can't tell kara. she will hate me and take me back. I can't risk it.
