The Beginning

"Oh No! Racer number 23 has fallen off his bike and now Racer number 03 is taking the lead, it's that girl again, she has been keeping a streak of nine wins in a row will she be able to make it ten wins this time?" The commentator blew in the mike, as the bike race was going on, "Ah...What's that? Racer number 37 is catching up to number 03. This is the first race for number 37 and it seems like he's doing quite well, they are about to finish the race who will win the new guy or the skilled girl? Number 03 is speeding up and oh she takes a sharp turn and lifts the rear of her bike on its front wheel making a spectacular cut in the air. With this stunt she blocked the path for Number 37 and once again is in the lead. With a blazing speed she is heading to the finishing line and BOOM THAT'S IT! RAVEN BLAZE HAS SECURED HER STREAK! NUMBER 03 HAS WON THE RACE!" The commentator screamed.

Howling cheers filled the air. I have got fans in here, never thought I would have any in my life. I got down from my Ducati 1299 Panigale and dragged it towards the commentator bench. I removed my helmet and shook my head to let my hair flow down. Then I removed my gloves. The organizer of this race walked to me with a winning trophy in his hands. I formally received him and he handed me the trophy. The audience once again screamed and cheered for me. As I glanced at the crowd of other racers standing a bit far on my left I saw number 37 glaring daggers at me. His face, his style of looking at me, it felt nostalgic. I tore my eyes away from him and concentrated on the trophy in my hands.

Ten wins in a row huh? I smirked.

As usual a party followed the race, and as usual I disappeared. I silently sneaked out and headed to the place where I found peace. I parked my bike in the basement when I reached my favorite building and headed to the roof. This was by every means the highest building of this city. Soon I reached the top. It was a beautiful night. It was cloudy, no stars were in sight. I lied down on the floor facing the sky. It's so soothing to let the darkness engulf your weaknesses, your strengths, your miseries and you!

Today again I won.... No, today again Raven Blaze won. I feel like I might get dissolved but I don't think there is any other way for me to survive. Living in a split of personalities may keep my original one alive.

I am Artemisia Frost. Daughter of Alfred Frost one of the richest and the noblest men of the country. Yes, the country. Our family had relations with British Royal Family some 100 years ago, it's not like that now but still our family is considered to be Royal. Dad owns a big group of companies and corporations known as Frost group of companies. We moved from England to Florida before my birth. The idea was to settle here in Tallahassee, Florida permanently to bring a bit of change in our lives but even in Florida everything remained same. We were still Royals. As I said our family is still considered Royal, that makes Dad a King and my mother Helen Frost a Queen and naturally makes me a kind of princess. I don't want to be one though. I want a normal life with normal stuff and normal family. This royal life attracts young girls. Everyone wants to be a princess but believe me once you step in this fantasy world you would regret it.

You get caught up in expectations, no ordinary expectations. You would be expected to be perfect at everything. And that everything includes everything except your own personal interests. It is like living someone else's dream.

You know what's the most painful thing? It's being in your mother's arms and still feeling the sting, the anxiety, the loneliness inside of you. That's when you know there is no one in this world but you, whom you can embrace and feel life again.
