Chapter 3

Kara's parents call Justin and Kara down stairs for dinner. Kara and Justin sit down at the table and her dad starts to say grace, then everyone starts eating.

Kara's Dad: So how was the meet and greet Kara?

Kara: Great. *smiles*

Dad: That's good.

Kara: How was your guys' day?

Mom and Dad: Good thanks sweetheart.

Justin: *whispers in Kara's ear* Your parents are looking at me like they don't like me.

Kara: That's how they are when I am with a guy in front of them babe.

Dad: So Justin what made you drive Kara home?

Justin: Um I was just trying to be a great boyfr- oh I mean friend.

Dad: Were you going to say boyfriend Justin?

Justin: Yes sir.

Dad: It's okay, after dinner I want to talk to you and Kara.

Justin and Kara: Okay.

Justin, Kara, and Kara's Dad go up stairs to Kara's room to talk.

Dad: So you two are dating?

Justin and Kara: Yeah.

Dad: Kara why couldn't you tell me about this when you got home?

Kara: I don't know. I'm sorry.

Dad: It's alright. Next time tell me when you and a boy are dating when you bring them home. Got that?

Kara: Okay I will.

Justin: Hey I got to go to me grandparents' house. I told them that I would be there after the meet and greet. Bye Kara. *gives Kara a kiss on the forehead and walks out of the room*

Dad: I don't want you to hangout with anyone tomorrow. 

Kara: But dad. Okay fine.

Later that night Justin texts Kara.

Justin: Kara what was up with your dad when I left?

Kara: I don't know, but I'm not allowed to hangout with anyone tomorrow.

Justin: Wow that's pathetic.

Kara: Yeah I know. I got to go my dad wants to talk, and I got to go to bed. Bye love you babe.

Justin: Okay. Bye. Love you too baby.

So Kara's dad talks to her and Kara goes to bed, and finds out that she can go hangout with friends the next day.
