Chapter 11

Kara, Justin, Chaz, and Ryan get finished playing their game of hockey and they all go to Madelyn's Diner for lunch.

Justin: Ugh I hate this place.

Kara: Why?

Justin: Because this is where I had my first date ever with one of my exes.

Kara: Oh.

Chaz: I still don't understand why you hate this place.

Ryan Chaz, Justin just said it to Kara. Do you listen?

Waiter: What would you guys like to drink?

Justin: A coke.

Ryan: Make that two.

Chaz: Make that three.

Kara: I'll have a diet coke.

Waiter: Okay. I'll be back with your drinks.

Justin: Okay thanks. Why did you ask for a diet coke Kara?

Kara: Because I'm used to drinking diet stuff because my dad is a diabetic.

Justin: Really?

Kara: Yeah.

Ryan: I didn't know your dad was a diabetic.

Kara: Yeah.

Chaz: Kara let me talk to you for a second privately please?

Kara: Okay. We'll be back guys.

Justin and Ryan: Okay.

Kara and Chaz go walking by the bathrooms to go talk.

Chaz: Kara?

Kara: Yeah?

Chaz: I want to ask Trine on a date, but I don't know how to ask her, so can you do it for me?

Kara: Yeah I will. It's for a friend Chaz.

Chaz Okay thanks, and why don't you tell Justin your birthday is in 4 days?

Kara: I don't know. I don't want him to spend a lot of his money on me, but I guess I'll tell him when we get back to the table. *gives Chaz a hug*

So Chaz and Kara get back to the table and the drinks were already on the table for everyone.

Kara: Justin, I wanted to tell you that my birthday in in 4 days, and I didn't want to tell you right away because I didn't want you to spoil me with things.

Justin: I really don't spoil girls. I spoil them with my loving them.

Kara: Aww. Let's have lunch.

Everyone: Okay.

So everyone orders their food and they started eating their lunch. Kara gets a phone call from her dad then her mom.

Kara: I lo- *phone rings* Hold on. *answers phone* Hello dad.

Dad: Hi um I'll be home at 3 in the morning.

Kara: Okay. Bye.

Dad: Bye. *hangs up*

Ryan: Who was that?

Kara: My dad. *phone rings* What now? *answers phone* Hello mom.

Mom: I won't be home till 3 in the morning. Bye.

Kara: Okay bye. *hangs up* Gosh I hate getting phone calls from my parents.

Ryan: Why?

Kara: Because my parents bug me.

Ryan: Oh.

Justin: What time is your mom and dad coming home tonight?

Kara: At 3 in the morning. Why?

Justin: Since your parents won't br home till 3 in the morning do you want to come to my grandparents' house to hang with me?

Kara: I guess.

Chaz: Oooo Justin.

Justin: What?

Chaz and Ryan: You are falling for Kara even more.

Justin: No.

Ryan: Yeah you are.

Justin: Okay maybe I am. Don't tell her parents.
