29: Family Relations

"My baby sister. You just happened fo stumble across my baby sister? How the fuck is that possible?"

"I don't know Joon-ah, but we did and I think you should talk to her but you need to be calm about it."

"Of course I'm going to be calm about it, she probably wants to know why our parents put her in the system."

"She probably wants to know alot of things. See if she's up to talk, if not then it can wait until she gets some rest. She's not in great shape."

Namjoon sighs "Okay, you said she's downstairs in the library?"

I nod "She is."

"Okay." He gets up and presses a kiss to my forehead "Thank you Ari."

I just nod and he leaves the office with me following. He goes into the library and I go into the kitchen and let Jungkook tug me to sit on his lap. "Everything okay?"

I shrug "I guess, I mean Namjoon's parents put her in the system at two, she has no idea why and she's been on the streets for almost six years. She also isn't in the best shape."

Jungkook sighs and so do most of the boys sitting at the table, those who don't, look sympathetic for Minji. Jungkook places his palms against my stomach and his chin on my shoulder. "She said a couple more weeks before you start feeling movement right?" 

I nod "She said I could start to feel small little kicks at thirteen weeks. So as soon as next week."

"I'm excited but scared." Jungkook mumbles.

"I am too, but we just have to do our best, be the parents we want to be to these little miracles." Hoseok takes Jungkook's hand.

I hum in agreement "We know what kind of parents we don't want to be, we just have to keep that decision in the back of our minds and we'll be amazing parents."

"You guys will be great parents, I mean Hoseok practically raised me and Tae. Even though you're younger than us Ari, you have been a mother figure to all of us, and Kook, you're a caring and compassionate person. You protect these two like you have no other purpose in the world, and I know you'll protect the twins with that same passion." Jimin chimes in.

"And as much of hardasses all three of you can be, you care and you know when you need to come down with a firm but gentle hand. You don't have to worry about being amazing parents; you already are." I.M. speaks this time.

"Thank you guys, but you wait until you become parents." I sigh and lean into Jungkook.

"You okay Ari?" Yerin comes into the kitchen. "Hanbin filled me in earlier when I called."

I shrug "I guess, I'm just stressed. There is so much going on already."

"I can look after her while everyone handles everything, she already trusts me." Wonho suggests.

I shake my head "We need everyone on this, we need to be ready for everything, no distractions. I'll have to, it's not like I can do much but sit around and watch you all anyway."

Jungkook presses a soft kiss to the back of my neck and Hoseok's hand meets my thigh to rub it soothingly. They both know I don't like not being able to do much, that it's frustrating to me because I have to have something to do with my time. More specifically to do with my hands or my body, or else I'll go crazy. Just then Namjoon comes in the kitchen and flicks his head towards his office. I look and Wonho and he nods and gets up to head back to the library. I give Jungkook's hands a small squeeze and he let's me up.

I follow Namjoon upstairs to his office and close the door behind me. "What do you want to speak to me about?"

"I figure you should know what I told Minji since I know you've probably already made the decision to keep an eye on her."
