"Tao!"

"Yeah!" Tao comes around the corner already dressed.

"Come on, we have somewhere to be."

"Can I gear up?"

I sigh "Quickly and be discreet about it, you're only a minor back up today." I follow him down the hall to the weapons room.

"For what?"

"The official reading of my fathers will, big time old and newer-ish mafia and mob bosses will be there and they won't be expecting you to show up with me. It's a metaphorical kick to the nuts." I shrug.

Tao also shrugs "Fair. So I'm guessing I should wear my leather jacket for this one not just a hoodie."

"Yes, now hurry up. I'll be in the garage, we're taking the Jag."

"Okay."

+ Hoseok's POV +

"Hobi?"

"Yeah Kook?"

"Where's Ari?"

"Father's official Will reading with Tao."

"Oh" he wraps himself around me in a back hug and rests his chin on my shoulder. "Whatcha doin'?"

I glance at him "Making breakfast." I turn my attention back to the fruit infront of me "How do you feel? Breathing okay?"

I feel him shrug "It still hurts everytime I get a little winded and my jaw still hurts, but other than that I'm fine."

"Well let me look at your ribs after breakfast."

He hums and presses a small kiss to my neck "Okay."

"Which one of them was it?"

"It was either Tao or Jaehyun, no one else would be able to land hits on me like that."

"It was Tao that grabbed me so it had to be Jaehyun that went after you." I sigh and bite at my bottom lip "Fucking assholes."

Jungkook presses another small kiss to to my neck "They were just doing what they were told. Now we have them, and they listen to Ari better than they listen to anyone else. Ari said they take orders from her better than they ever took orders from her father."

I nod "They do. They always found ways to bend the rules when it came to orders given by her father. From what I've seen the past couple of days they don't do that with her."

"Probably because she scares them more than her father scared them."

"Probably, they didn't fear or respect her father. They may be cruel and whatever but they respect women, they don't toss them around like her father did. All of us hated him for that. Especially when he started doing it to Ari."

"But they've been after her?" There's confusion laced in Jungkook's voice.

I shake my head "Not those eight, they would have said no. We all grew up together, and they looked out for her as much as they could after I left. They may be dicks, but they do care about her. Especially Jaehyun and Mark seeing as Jaehyun is the same age as you and Mark is a year younger than her." I put all the fruit in two bowls "Come on, let's eat. Can you grab the chopsticks?"
