Timeline - After Ragini reaches Abhimanyu's home and questions him if he's really not Laksh.
Heart Doesn't Lie
"How's that possible?" Ragini shouted in a broken voice.
Her husband was standing right before her eyes. Yet, he was refusing to admit he was Laksh.
The so called Abhimanyu Khanna sighed. "I'm just a lookalike. I'm sorry for your loss Miss, but I'm not..." he coughed. "Your husband."
"Yes." Mansi pushed Mishka forward. "Ask her. She wouldn't lie."
Ragini looked at the innocent child.
Mishka nodded. "This is my father. Why are you saying he is your husband, Miss?"
Hearing her words, Ragini's last ray of hope broke down. After all, why would a child lie?
"I..." Ragini grit her teeth to stop herself from breaking down. Without a word, she turned around and left.
"Maa, who was that lady?"
"No-one Mishka. Let's go have lunch, shall we?!"
"You both go ahead. I have some work." saying so, he left.
However, he, Laksh Maheshwari, was going after Ragini. He knew he hurt her by lying. But he never could bear seeing Ragini in tears.
The way she left the place, made him uncomfortable. After all, she was his soul. How could he eat or rest without knowing if she was okay?
As he followed her, he saw her enter the park and sit down in a secluded corner by herself.
Even from a distance, Laksh knew she crying silently. The way she had her fist over her mouth to cover her sobs broke his heart. All he wanted to do was keep her in his embrace. However, he was trapped.
Ragini squeezed her eyes shut as she recalled memories of Laksh. 'Laksh? Where did you go? Did you really leave me forever? Come back...please...PLEASE!'
