Superstition-day two part two

Whatever you do,if you get even the slightest doubt that you shouldn't do something, don't.

I was walking in the city center when I stared seeing the mark from last night's dream on every shop,every door,every window.It was like a path.I got curious and started following these tridents.

What is this?

I got a little suspicious when I started nearing the forest.I walked until I got to a field with a centenary tree in the middle.The symbols stopped there.

How strange...

In that instant my knees felt weak and the ground under me crumbled making me tumble down a dark tunnel and into a cave lit with torches.

Mykonos is a really beautiful city.Everybody should visit it at least once in their lifetime.
Leo was looking at a statue when I saw the exact same symbol of a bow and an arrow next to a sun shaped symbol.I looked at my brother and when he saw it he paled.I immediately understood that there was something he was hiding from me.
"Leo,what is it?"
"Nothing."
"Don't lie to me.Wait...did you dream about this mark?"
"How do you know?Did I talk in my sleep?"
"No.I know this will seem strange,but I dreamt about it too,except that my symbol was a bow with an arrow."
In that moment the marks started multiplying and we started following them.I wish we hadn't because when they stopped we both fell in a hole that made us fall into a cave.

Are you freaking kidding me?A cave?!

The odd thing was that there were torches all around us.

I heard footsteps and when I turned around I saw Leon and Naomi.
"What are you guys doing here?"
"What are you doing here,Chase? Leon asked
"I followed some marks."
"We did too." They said
"Mine were all tridents." I told them
"Ours were different.I had a sun and my sister had a bow and arrow.
"Yeah,I know.She told me she dreamt about it last night.You didn't tell me he had the same dream too Naomi."
"I didn't know too until a few moments ago."
"Well enough chitchatting,let's go exploring."
"Are you crazy?Exploring is what led us here in the first place!" Naomi said.
"But maybe there's an exit around here somewhere" I replied.
We stared walking around the enormous cave until we found a door.My first thought was:YES!!!But as soon as I opened the door I my hopes of getting out were shattered like glass.
There was a giant Greek temple in perfect conditions with 12 symbols on its front,tree of them being:
-A trident
-A sun
-A bow and arrow
Our marks.
As we circled the temple we heard some voices coming from the back.We headed in that direction until we found ourselves face to face with 9 other teenagers.
"Uhm...hello? I said
One of them turned around and said: "There are others?"
"Apparently." Leo said.
"I'm Naomi,this is my twin brother Leon and that guy over there is Chase."
"Hi.I'm Michelle" said one of the girls.
"The rude guy that made that uncool comment was Ryan.The emo one is Liam,the one with the assassin stare is Roman,that guy is Adam(he's a prankster),Nathan is the one with his phone in his hands,Jason's the one with a bunch of grapes,Ashley is the one sitting by the temple,the one who're fixing her makeup is Lara,Tamara is the girl laying on the floor and finally Katarina is the one next to Ryan.
"Nice to meet you all" Naomi said
"So...is there an exit around here?" I asked
"No,not one." Ashely replied.
"Since we're stuck here together we could get to know each other:our hobbies,likes and dislikes...ecc" Said Michelle
"Ok.I'll start!!!Favorite makeup product?" Asked Lara.
"Seriously?!" The guys said in unison.
"Favorite civilization?" Ashley asked.
"What kind of questions are these?" Liam said.
"Answer the damn question!"
"Okay,jeez.Calm down.Ancient Greece"
"Mine too.I especially love the myths." everyone else said.
"What?Okay I'm done.These cannot be coincidences.There's too many things that  we have in common:the dream,us stuck here together and the love for Ancient Greece." I replied.
"Who cares.Let's enjoy this thing, whatever it is.We don't have to see this as a negative experience." Adam butted in.
"I found some robes in the back.We could dress up.There's twelve of us and twelve ancient Greek robes,we could pretend to be Greek Gods." Offered Lara.
"If you think about it each of us got one mark that represents a God or Goddess.I got an owl:Athena's symbol."
"Fine.After all we don't have anything else I do." said Ryan.
"This means I'm Zeus." He said
"I'm Poseidon." I said
"I'm Apollo." Leon continued
"I'm Artemis," Claimed Naomi.
"I'm Hades". Stated Liam
"Hephaestus." Affirmed Nathan
"I'm Aphrodite!" Exclaimed Lara
"Demeter." Said Michelle
"I'm Dionysus then."  Jason continued
"I'm obviously Ares." Stated Roman
"I would be Athena." Claimed Ashley
"Heraaaa!" Exclaimed Katarina
"Hestia." Tamara said.
"Now that we got that cleared out we can start our game.We'll go in turns and each time one of us says what they would do and describes it to the rest of the group." Athena stated.
"I'll go first.I would create a tornado in  Idaho." Ryan claimed.
"I'm second - said Jason- I would make wine free for everyone."
"Me third!I would make people find their true love!Always!" Lara exclaimed
"I would make a small earthquake in the Artic." I said.
And the game continued on forever.It seemed as if we had played for hours.We couldn't even check the time because our phones shut down and our watches stopped working as soon as we fell in the cave.
We dressed back in our clothes and decided to try to find an exit maybe inside the temple and we found it.There was a trapdoor under the chest where we got our robes from.
We all got in and found a flight of stairs leading up to the surface.
"What now guys?" Asked Naomi.
"I had lots of fun.We should do it again.I never laughed so much thanks to Adam." Said Leon.
"You know...we could meet again everyday after lunch.Now we know where the entrance and exit are:under a centenary tree and under the chest.
Everyone agreed.I checked my watch and my phone:the watch had started to work again and strangely time flowed differently,slowly,down there.The phone was also back on.
"Guys!Check the time.It's only 2pm.Only half and hour has passed."
"What?" They asked in unison.
"It's strange." I replied.
"Who cares,we had fun.Why should that be a problem?It actually better because our parents won't get angry at us for disappearing and they won't get worried.Now we can come here more often." Roman claimed.
"Yeah,maybe you're right." I said. "I shouldn't be worried."
"Yeah man,don't ruin this with your bullshit." He replied.
"Fine."
We all said goodbye and parted our own ways.Naomi,Leo and Me headed towards our apartments together talking about what happened while trying to con home with google maps.
That evening I stayed in.I made up an excuse because I wanted to go over what had happened.I couldn't believe it,a secret temple underground!I went to bed early,eager to meet my new friends again.

We had no idea what would happen.
Absolutely none.
