Games-day three part one

What happens when you think about the future?Do you actually believe in what you think will happen? For me what happens in the future is completely opposite to what I think will happen.Always.

I woke up at 9am.Last night I was too excited to sleep....everything that had happened seemed so surreal,so unreal.I still couldn't believe it.I got ready to go out,I walked to Naomi's apartment and knocked on the door.
Leon opened the door and we stood there just looking at each other for what seemed seamed like hours.And let me tell you that it was awkward as hell.
"So...is this thing going to go on much longer?" He said.I started stammering like crazy.I sounded like an idiot.
"No,well...I...uhm...I don't know...?"
"Let's get straight to the point.Are you here to see my sister?"
"Yeah.I was going to ask her if she wanted to go to the beach for a walk.Only if it's ok with you and your parents obviously." I said wanting to sound polite.
"Yeah fine,our parents are somewhere in the city.I'll text them that she went out for a walk."
"Thanks bro.Could you-"
"Don't push it."
I raised my hands yielding.
"Okay,okay."
"Naomi!Chase is here to see you!" Yelled Leo from outside the door.
"Coming!Let me get ready."
Since 'We were in for a long wait' as Leo said we started talking randomly about surfing and stuff.All of a sudden one question came to me:
"Hey,what's your last name?" I asked wonderingly.
"Archer.Why?"
"I don't know.I'm just trying to find a connection between us and those symbols from yesterday."
"Well then,what's yours?"
"Hudson.Like the river in New York."
"Wait.What if our last names really have something to do with the symbols that were chosen for us?"
"What do you mean?"
"I mean that our last name is Archer and Apollo and Artemis are known as the twin archers. Your last name is Hudson like the river and Poseidon is the god of the sea and all water related things."
"You might be onto something."
"Yeah well,we'll see."
After a few minutes there she was,Naomi Archer in all her beauty.

When people say that beauty makes up for the lost time,they are completely right.

She wore a red skirt with a short tucked in white shirt and black ballerinas.Hair hair was tied up in a bun with two chopsticks sticking out.She put on just the right amount of makeup,no more,no less.
"Hey, I'm sorry I left you waiting."
My jaw was hanging open because Leo was laughing like crazy.
"Be careful Chase,close your mouth or you might catch flies."
"Huh?What?" I said blushing. "Nothing." He answered.Then I noticed that I wasn't the only one blushing,Naomi was too.
"Come on,let's go.I want to show you something.Later Leo." I said.
While we were heading down the stairs Leo yelled:"Use protection!".
"LEON!" growled Naomi. We were both blushing and embarrassed.
Heading down the stairs we didn't speak,neither one of us made a sound.
After a few minutes Naomi was curious about where we were going.I wanted to take her to a special place I learned about last time I came here in Mykonos.I was heading to a fisherman in the harbor to ask if he had caught fresh fish that morning when I saw a man that was painting a cave with the shape of a dolphin head.
"So...are you going to tell me where we're going or not? She asked again since I didn't answer.
"Somewhere special."
We were heading in the outskirts of the city through the woods and near a waterfall that fell in the sea.We slipped down a slope and jumped from rock to rock until we got to the entrance behind the waterfall where there was a tunnel leading inside the rock's wall.
"What is this place?" Naomi asked while we were walking under the colorful crystals that filled the tunnel ceiling.
"You'll see."
The tunnel's exit was located on a secret beach behind some bushes.
"Wow Chase,this is beautiful." Said Naomi amazed by the view.
The small secret beach was surrounded by rock walls all around and on the far left side you could see a dolphin-head shaped cave that stretched out into the sea like a dolphin jumping.
"It is,isn't it?"
"How did you find it?"
"By accident.I met a man,a painter that showed me it but it's a secret,nobody knows about it except for us."
"And the painter"
"He's...uhm...dead."
"Oh,I'm sorry."
"It doesn't matter now.Come on,let's go." I said while taking off my shoes and running towards the cave.
"Where are you going?" Yelled Naomi.
"To the cave,hurry up."
I was already halfway there when I saw her taking of her ballerinas and catching up to me after a few seconds.
"Jeez,you're fast Nay."
"Already using nicknames aren't we?"
"Why say the whole name if you can shorten it?"
"Ok.Fine.Then I'll call you....I don't know...I can't seem to find a nickname that suits you." She said after a few seconds.
"Too bad" I said laughing.

Chase is a great guy.He's funny,sweet and very-no,extremely handsome.He was running with his flipped back hair bobbing up and down.It was so cute.
He has a great sense of humor and he knows many interesting things.
I still don't know where he's taking me but I hope somewhere nice.
We were running and fooling around,kicking up sand as we ran across the secret beach.When we reached the dolphin head cave, Chase stopped.He put his finger to his mouth and signaled to be quiet as he put his shoes back on and started walking on the rocks that lead inside.I followed him and when we were both in he finally said:
"So,do you like it?"
"It's amazing" I answered.The cave was filled with crystals and precious gems that shimmered brightly as the sun touched their surface.No words could describe the beautiful view you could admire by looking from inside the cave towards the blue Mediterranean sea.
"So...you never told me the story of how you met the painter guy"
"He was painting this same cave at the docks in the harbor.I was fascinated and curious so I asked him about it.I remember him saying: 'Only the worthy shall find it,as was I.' I was intrigued by this enigmatic answer so he decided to show me where the cave was. 'Never tell a soul about this place' he said and I never saw him again after that."
"It's an interesting story.How old were you?"
"Fourteen.I know I shouldn't have followed a complete stranger but the guy seemed so peaceful and harmless I decided to trust him."
"I guess you did well if you're still here." I said laughing.Chase joined in on the laugh and we continued talking about random stuff: likes and dislikes,that sort of thing and by the time we were out of topics we realized that time had flown and that we had been out for almost four hours.
"Oh my god.It's almost 2 pm.Our parents are going to kill us." I exclaimed.
"I'm sure they will and I bet they called us.Too bad that cell service doesn't work in this cave.We better head back, come on Nay."
"Coming."
We started running as fast as we could and in fifteen minutes we reached the apartments.We got there just in time to witness our parents talking to each other not caring if we had arrived or not.
Chase cleared his throat.
"Will someone please explain what is happening?"
Everyone turned around and faced us.Leo came out from the back and said:
"Thank god you're back.I was getting bored listening to our fathers talking about tennis and our mothers talking about which is the best technique to get the perfect tan."
"Sorry.We got carried away exploring the city." Lied Chase.His face didn't move one millimeter when he lied.He looked impassible as if what he was telling were the truth.I figured he was one of those people who could get away with just about anything.
"Well,we're glad you're back in time for lunch because we're all going out together." My mom said.

'Great.Lunch with Chase and his parents.This is going to be a disaster.'

But truth to be told,I secretly enjoyed this because it meant more time with Chase.

Okay.I'll admit it.I felt guilty about lying to my parents.Mostly because I never lie to them,I never need to for anything but they couldn't find out where we had been the whole time.
Oh and did I mention we're all going out for lunch?
The only positive outcome is that I'll be able to spend more time with Naomi even though in the afternoon we'll need to cut it short because we need to meet up with the guys from yesterday at the temple.
We went in our respective apartments to change and headed out to the city center.
