Daniella, Sophie, and Lucas were hiding upstairs in the office.

Sophie: (whispers) “Lucas, shut up! We can’t be yelling when we’re in shock. Duh!”

Lucas: “Ough.”

Daniella looked at Sophie and Lucas as they heard another scream--a long scream--and they could tell that it was a woman this time! Another shot went off and they could hear someone talking--a man was talking. Threatening! They could hear him as he yelled at the woman.

Man: “Don’t make me, I’ll do it, I’ll kill all of your animals off if you won’t tell me!”

Woman: “But I swear to you that I don’t know!”

Another shot went off and Daniella decided that it was enough putting up with that. She sneaked downstairs while Lucas noticed the dead body beside Sophie.

Lucas: “AHHHH!!!!”

Then the man downstairs stopped as Sophie shooshed Lucas and Lucas asked why it was there.

Sophie: (whispers) “It’s Daniella’s dead father.”

Then Daniella had no choice but to jump and tackle the man as she was sneaking down the stairs because the man was about to head up the stairs--then Daniella jumped and they fell down the stairs and the man grabbed her arm as she tried to run away, but she broke free and she saw who the woman was.

Daniella: “Mom?!”

Daniella’s mother (Helen): “Daniella?!”

Daniella began to untie her and freed her as the man stood up and pointed the gun at the two.

Man: “Oh hello, Daniella. So nice for you to drop in with us. Just to let you know, I’m Peter.”

Daniella had a flashback in which Sophie was explaining something.

Daniella: “I’m not sure but, do you know the person who used to live here?”

Sophie: “Yeah! Peter Stevens.”

Daniella: “Do you know where he lives now?”

Sophie: “No.”

Daniella’s flashback ended and she realized that he killed her father! Daniella then interrupted whatever Peter was saying.

Daniella: “You! Peter Stevens, you killed my father.”

Helen: “Daniella?! Are you okay?! You don’t make any sense.”

Daniella: “Actually, I do. Here’s how, Peter Stevens used to live in this house, which is this freak over here, and this house eventually became abandoned. Now, I should’ve told you this already, but I found my father’s dead body in this house. Sophie and I lost track of it and then found it again and have it with us now. The only thing was that I couldn’t think of who done it, and I found white specs on the body and the same white specs match the ones you can see in Peter’s black hair over there, which is a sign of dandruff. How obvious can you get? But the only this that doesn’t make sense to me is why? Why’d you do it, Peter?”

Peter: “Your father, Quinton, was my partner in police work. You see, I was always laughed at for my noticable dandruff and people would say I was freaky, but your father was beloved by EVERYONE. I couldn’t understand why, and one day he made fun of me, that was it! I HAD IT! I killed him just like he did my respect!”

Daniella: “All over JEALOUSY?! Now, no one can see him. OUGH! I’m calling the cops and turning you in! I’ve gotta a full confession on this recorder!”

A gunshot hit the phone out of her hand.

Daniella: “LUCAS?!”

Lucas: “Don’t you dare put my father in prison!”

Daniella looked at the ground.

Daniella: (murmured to herself): “Lucas Stevens--I should’ve known!”

Lucas: “What was that?!”

Daniella: “Nothing. And Lucas, I cannot believe that you have done this!”

Lucas: “How’d you know?”

Lucas pulled out something from the office room they had been peeking in: and Lucas pulled out Sophie strapped to a chair, with duck-tape over her mouth! Daniella gasped and then turned around and saw that Peter tied Helen to the chair again, so now Daniella backed up to the the corner of the room as Lane and Peter cornered her. She started to cry.

Daniella: “What did I EVER do to deserve this?! I thought that you loved me, Lucas.”

Lucas: “Of course not. I was just trying to go undercover and get anything you knew about my dad and influence enough to turn it around.”

Daniella: “How could you?”

Lucas and Peter strapped Daniella to a chair as well and set a bomb in the house. They ran out and took the body with them. But as they were, Sophie freed herself with a knife--from her pocket--she found back when she was kidnapped, and now Sophie called the police and untied Daniella and Helen.

Daniella: “Thanks so much, Sophie!”

Sophie: “No time for appreciation! There’s seven seconds left on the bomb!”

Daniella: “WHAT?!”

6, 5, 4, 3, 2...Helen pulled a couple cords of the bomb, and the bomb didn’t go off--it was defused! Daniella and Sophie were celebrating as the police came and picked up Lane and Peter with the dead body in Peter’s hands. Daniella and Sophie watched the cops leave as Lane and Peter were inside and Helen came up to them.

Helen: “Job well done. I don’t know how, but job well done.”

Sophie: “You’re the one with the job well done, Helen, you saved our butts back there! I don’t what we would’ve done without your help!”

Daniella: “Yeah, I wouldn’t know either. Anyways, when did you learn how to defuse a bomb?”

Helen: “Never. I just pulled a bunch of cords and hoped it would work.”

Daniella, Sophie, and Helen: “Ha! Ha, ha, ha!”

All three of them laughed as they walked home and as the sun went down.

The End.
