"Is that all?" I asked. Dad had just told me of how the boy, Hiccup, had to say goodbye to the Nightfury, Toothless, and he later met up with him after they both had children. Fishlegs was still examining my arm as dad talked. "Not really... they had other adventures in between their first meeting and their goodbye."
"Could you tell me how they're still alive?" Dad rubbed the back of his neck. "I...don't really know that story. Fishlegs, could you take over? Fishlegs? Fishlegs!" Fishlegs jumped at the sound of dad yelling in his ear. "Wh-what?"
"Could you please take over the story telling? She wants to know how you guys became... immortal."
"Oh! Of course... right. Well, It actually started with the villain in the third story, Grimmel.

(Fishleg's Flashback)

"Hiccup! We're under attack!" I screamed running towards Hiccup's house. He came out in his battle armour. "I can see that! Deathgrippers again?"
"Yeah, but they're not alone..."
"What do you mean?"
"G-Grimmels with them!" Hiccup stared at me as though I was crazy. "It's true! Look!" I pointed to where a large Deathgripper was flying. It didn't look exactly like a Deathgripper, for it had something on its back. But if you looked closely, you could see it was a person... "But...that's impossible...I saw him die myself..." I could easily see the distress on his face. "Maybe it would be a good idea if Astrid looked after the kids?" Astrid yelled from the house just then, "WHAT DO YOU THINK I'M DOING?!" Hiccup and I rushed to the tower. We knew how to shoot Grimmel down. We got the exact same weapon that Hiccup had used to shoot Toothless down when they first met. How I wished Meatlug were there... "Fishlegs! Focus!" I haven't got time to think of that know. Hiccup needed me. Hiccup bent down to eye level. "Steady... steady...." He shot, but was instantly thrown back by the force. But he hit him. Yes! He got him! Now we needed to get to him before his Deathgrippers did...

Hiccup was battling with Grimmel now. I couldn't intervene. I was making sure the Deathgripper stayed asleep. I heard Hiccup say, "How did you survive? I saw you die myself!" I knew what he was doing. It wasn't a curious question. Hiccup was trying to distract him. "Of course, you wouldn't know. You are just a silly mortal." He was trying to anger Hiccup. I knew this tactic well. But Hiccup wasn't one to get angered easily. "What do you mean? We're all immortal." Grimmel smiled cruelly. Something wasn't right. "Well, I would like to ask you this question... how do you think I found all the Nightfuries, other than yours? They're intelligent creatures. They soon hid when they realised that more and more of them were dying. So I made a deal with a particular someone. He gave me help to find them, gave me immortality, and gave me these Deathgrippers. In return, I would not only kill the Nghtfuries, but also his enemies and one day the Gods. So, here I am, about to kill one of his greatest enemies. The runt who became friends with one of His most hated creatures. He's not happy with you, you know." What did he mean? A deal? With who? After a terrible battle, Hiccup attempted to kill him. But instead of his fire sword killing him, Grimmel turned into black smoke, saying these words, "I'll return, and then you'll pay." I never forgot those words. After that, the Deathgrippers left. We found out who Grimmel had made a deal with. Loki wasn't just the God of tricksters. He was also the Gods enemy, well, since something happened. Not sure what it was. We all decided that only one person could help us. Odin, the father of all Gods. Gothi helped us make contact with him. Our conversation... that's not really important. The important thing is that Odin and us made a deal of our own. He gave us the gift of becoming Demigods. He was impressed that our friendship with our dragons and each other was still so strong after all these years. He also gave us another gift. Because we were a gang and we were the first to train dragons, he gave us our dragons back, and he called us the Dragon Spirits. I think that was the best day of our life. Our gifts helped us hide our dragons in the form of tattoos. Of course, not everyone on Berk could become Demigods. Hiccup and Astrid were heartbroken when their kids had to suffer the same fate as everyone else. Even though they were the only ones with kids. Not even Snotlout and Ruffnut had kids, or Heather and I (I don't care what everyone else ships I ship Fishlegs and Heather!!!). Heather had suffered too. But Odin found an alternative. If they could prove themselves, then on the day of their death, Odin would pay them a visit. Later, we learned that they lived in the palace for all eternity. I had to wait many years to see Heather again. But it was all worth it in the end. Our descendants are living in the palace for all eternity. Only a few selected of our descendants are Dragon Spirits. It always stays in the family.

(End Flashback)

"If only descendants become Dragon Spirits, then... are we related to you?" Dad and Fishlegs glanced at each other. Again. "Well... we weren't entirely sure who your dad was related to, that is, until after you were born. You see... you look like an old friend who we met before we became Demigods. She had a Nightfury too..."
"But you don't know who we're related to."
"....no. Not fully. But... I do have a theory. Our friend... could have been related to the gang." I needed answers. "Could you... tell me more about this friend of yours?"
"I-I think we should go get Hiccup for that. He was the closest to her of all of us." Fishlegs stood up, and walked out. Dad followed right behind. I had no choice. I needed more answers. I soon followed suit.
