Kai finally started to stir and wake up she stood up quickly not realizing where she was.
"Kai its okay you're at my house" I said standing up from my office chair she back up to the wall and slid down to the floor and started crying "I dont wanna go back" she said through her sobs.
I rushed to her side and sat next to her she put her head in my lap and I stroked her hair "shhh its okay you can stay here as long as you want after what I saw I dont think you should go back" she nodded "why does he do that?"
I asked timidly then she told me about her brother "is that why you dont like me" she sniffled and sat up " its not that I dont like YOU I dont like anyone, I mainly just try to distance myself from you because of my brother"
I sighed realizing that my chances with her just flew out the window "im sorry" she mumbled "let me make it up to you" I guess not.
