CHAPTER FOUR

The fact that my mate is human established the fact that the moon Goddess hates me.

   First I searched the world years looking for my mate and now that I finally found her, she's human- A half Nigerian at that.

    Nigerians are so biased about all spiritual creatures thinking we are all evil and it's not really there fault, the witches and wizards has hurt them alot and they can turn into kind of animal, so they will kill a werewolf before they half the time to explain themselves.

     You might be thinking that we should be stronger than them, so it shouldn't be easy to take us out but the bitter fact is that Nigerians has alot of juju(spiritual charms) that can hurt any spiritual creatures, no matter how powerful they are.

     So we keep ourselves as secrets to them and our forefathers made a deal with their kings, that as long as we keep ourselves secretly we can live a normal life among them which is the reason why all the packs in Nigeria have successfully businesses going on to keep their packs going.
 
    Even though I can smell my mate's arousal I know I can't do anything about the attraction because she'll run for hills once she founds out about me being a werewolf or worst bring trouble for me and my pack.

    But if I can't have her, then I can have around to keep my sanity. I schooled my expression and sat down on my chair

   " I've been expecting you Ms. Johnson, have your sit" I gestured to the chair in front of my desk.

    She tried and failed to compose herself as she walked to the chair and sat

   I went straight to business
" I've checked your CV and since you are qualified, I don't need to interview you but if you made a little mistake then I'll fire you" I said even though I know I'll keep her as my PA for life even if sells my company.

    She smiled and I felt my groin twitching at the way her lips moved upward, I know she's going to be the death of me already.

    "Thanks so much sir, I won't disappoint you" she said
  
     " I hope so" I replied and gave her a bunch of files
" take this files and sort through it, there is a laptop on your desk in your office which is that area"
I pointed to the area demarcated with glass wall in my office and continued
" I'll send a mail about my schedule to you, I believe you know what to do"

   " Yes sir" she said professionally and stand up to go to her office but I stopped her with a " you are welcome once again"

    She me that her billion worth smile and said " thank you sir" before going to her office.

    I took a deep breath before closing my eyes thinking about how I'll cope with working with my mate in the same office area.

  I know I shouldn't let her be in the same room with me and I know I should've let her go but I just couldn't do that when I searched for her years and I will do everything to be with her and at the same time keep my pack and secrets safe from her because I love her already.

   I bury my self deep in work on business deals and how to fight stupid rogues, trying and failing to push the thought about my mate to the back of my mind.

   I just hope the Moon goddess knows what she's doing by giving me a human mate.
