Jewel's POV

I glared across the ball room in despair at a couple dancing to a slow song in a way that makes me burn with jealousy, the couple are non other than  Ayomi and sewa, I swear those two have something going on but he doesn't have to rub it in my face after last night and bringing me to this company's party as his date, i would've preferred coming alone and not get ignored by my date all night.

    He met my eyes across the room and raised an eyebrow in question, I only smiled at him and look away to drown my drink.

    I thought back to how sewa has been throwing it in everyone's face in the office that she's our boss childhood friend and secondary school sweetheart, which I don't believe one bit, because I did my research, I have to know everything about my target, and I found out he has never been in a relationship. He's only ever had fuck buddies, that's why I don't believe the stupid girl.

     Someone sat beside, I looked up to see a cute guy looking at me with a curious eyes.

     "What is a beautiful lady like you doing sitting alone"

    " Well I got dumped by my date"  I replied.

     " Well, his lost and my gain. Can I have a dance with with this beauty" he asked while smiling cutely and I noticed he had small dimple on. I nodded and stood up while taking his outstretched hand.

      He led me to the dance floor and we started dancing erotically to the music (the guy can dance, I give him that).   I rolled my waist in a way I can feel his groin twitching against my ass
. I smirked and rubbed against him faster and I felt his hand going on my boobs and I know I should probably stop him before it got too far because truthfully I've never tried this kind of thing before I only flirt around and got my ideas from the erotic books I read online.

     Suddenly 'Mr cute guy' was pulled away from me and what I saw was so unbelievable that it had me boiling in anger.....

Fikayo's POV

       My wolf was boiling with so much anger that I could hardly think straight, I put some strain on him as I dragged the 'asshole' dancing  my wolf out from the dance floor, I threw him on the  floor and was about to punch him when I felt jewel coming closer to where we are, I glared at the boy in front of me and decided to just warn him

     "If you want to still remain in this city with a job , I'll advice you to stay away from that woman" at my word he only grumbled and walk in the opposite direction.

      I smoothen my suit and turned to look at my mate who has her mouth opened like she couldn't believe what she's seeing. I walked towards her with the thoughts of teaching her lesson about not letting others touch her. I'm so mad at her right now, that it's clouding my thoughts.

    When I got to the club earlier with her, I was asked by sewa to dance with her and it would have been rude to decline since she's my secretary and also another pack's alpha. I was dancing with her when I suddenly realized my mate was practically fucking a guy on the dance floor, which lead to my wolf loosing it.

   "What the hell did you think you are doing dry humping another guy on the dance floor, when I brought you here as my date" I asked angrily

   "Well since my date was fucking another girl on the dance floor, I decided to have some fun. You don't expect me to sit around waiting for you when you are having fun" she said icily

    I looked at her intently and realized something, she's jealous. She's jealous, which means she's attracted to me and possessive of me, I'm happy and my wolf was equally happy that our mate was a possessive of us.

   I realized she was still glaring at me, so I walked forward and drew her into my arms. I wish I could tell her how much she means to me but I know that will have to wait till another time.

Jewel's POV

      Fikayo's display of possession and the hug had my thoughts raising. We are on our way to my house, and he's driving, I just know something will surely happen tonight even if we wouldn't declare our love for each other I know our relationship is about to change.

    He went out of the car to open my door, I got out and just stood there awkwardly.

    " I'm sorry for what happened tonight" he said quietly that I have to think twice before deciding I heard him right.

   I blinked twice and looked at him disbelievingly. I never thought he was the type of guy that says sorry, so I'm shocked. I noticed he was now looking at me also and I got so lost in his eyes that I don't realise he has close the gap between us until I felt his lips on mine.

Thanks for reaching guys, I just wish I had a laptop soon, it will make my work easier . But still endure with me for the time being.
