Not really gone

Chapter 9

Sorry this is taking so long, I've had a really busy schedule lately.

Gunnar let out a little sigh, but nodded his head answering my question. Well it wasn't even a question really, it was more of a statement.

"So what all do you want to know?"

Ok that's an easy one how about the whole wolf thing.

"Ok first why in hell was I a wolf!"

I kinda yelled the last 5 words making me feel bad for yelling at him.

"Alright calm down, this might be a lot to take in at first. I hope you grow to understand it though."

I nodded my head signaling for him to continue.

"I'll start with the legends of our people."

Legends of our people, um I don't know if he knows this but my family if from Europe, I decided to ignore it for now and ask later.

"A long time ago before America was even thought of, before the British, the Dutch, or the Spanish. There was an India tribe, right around here. One night the chief was very sick, he was about to die. But then his wife Luna sacrificed herself to Zeus. Zeus didn't think much of the human, but then he thought he could make her into a goddess and then would she have some use. Luna told her story to Zeus and he turned her into the moon goddess. With her new gifts Luna used her powers to heal her husband. But after he was healed he wasn't himself, he wasn't human! Luna went to Zeus but the only thing he told he was 'you must be careful with what you wish for or the higher spirits will twist your words'

Luna now new what she had to do..........If she made him a demand, then she could turn him human again too.

Luna went down to her husband on the next full moon. When she got down to the village, everyone was dead, Luna went around looking for her husband, when she saw a little girl next to her mother. Luna rushed up to the little girl, put her head to her chest, she could hear the little girls heartbeat.

Luna was startled by a laugh, but that laugh wasn't a human laugh, it was a laugh that could only come from one thing and one thing only.

She turned around to see her husband not even a hundred feet away, starring right at her. He started walking towards her murder in his red eyes.

'Miles please she's just a girl, don't do this.' she pleaded as he turned his stare to her.

Luna stood up from her crouch, to defend the little girl.' Miles please don't make me do this!' He didn't even glance at her, she looked up to the moon and graves the little girl......demons only feed on humans, she thought to herself. She pictured a white wolf, and closed her eyes.

When they opened, she looked at Miles and said' so what if she's not human anymore'

Horror flashed across Miles face, but then went right back to cold, hard, killer, 'what did you do?'

'Made her so you can't kill her but that doesn't mean she can't kill you!'

Luna replied with a smile on her face.

They heard a groan, and turned their heads to see a little girl turn into a monster, another monster that Luna had created. They watched as the almost dead little girl turned into a great white wolf towering over Luna and Miles.

The wolf looked into Luna's eyes, and Luna spoke, hello I will explain everything if you do one thing for me.'

The wolf nodded her head, symbolizing to continue.

'I need you to kill him, tear him limb from limb, he killed this village, he is the one that killed your mother.'

Anger flashed in the wolf's now red eyes, as she pounced onto Miles.

Luna did not like death so she turned he head, the last thing she heard was Mile's last breath, before she heard the wolf tear him apart.

Luna sighed at knowing the demon was gone for goods, but she grieved over knowing what she had just done to that poor little girl.

The wolf stood there breathing hard, but was now replaced by the little girl again. The girl collapsed and Luna ran to help her,' it's going to be ok, what's your name little girl?'

She before she passed out all she said was 'Rosily'.

Luna then grabbed Rosily in her arms and to her up with the gods, to her new home.

It had been 9 days since Rosily had killed Miles, but she still hadn't awoken.

Luna had went to Zeus for guidance, but again he didn't tell her much, except.

'You've created this mess and now you must clean it up, the girl may stay, but only until you have worked this out.'

She thanked Zeus and went to get the new book she had, that she used to heal Miles.

She flipped through the pages for 7 hours a day for 9 days, but Rosily still hadn't awoken and Luna still hadn't found, anything about the human-wolf thing she had created.

The pages started to flip, and she heard a little yawn.

Luna looked over to see Rosily up right and awake.

Then she looked back at the book to see the headline as werewolves.

She marked her place in the book, and went to check on Rosily.

'Hello' Luna said now at the side of the bed, 'how are you feeling?' Rosily just yawned again while she answered.

'I'm fine, but where'. She paused to finish her yawn.

'Where am I?' Luna explained everything.

'And now your here.' she ended with, hoping that Rosily wouldn't ask what she was.

'I'm hungry' Oh thank goodness, this gives me time to read about the werewolves. She thought to herself.

'Ok well go down the hall and to the right I have food waiting for you there.'

Luna said with a smile as Rosily walked away.

Immediately after Rosily was out of her sight Luna went to the book and opened it to the marked page. She read for 1 and 1/2 hours until she heard Rosily's light footsteps coming back to the office.

Luna had gotten through all of the information about werewolves, and was ready to tell Rose the rest.

But Luna was taken aback when it wasn't just Rose who walked in, it was also Zeus, holding her hand. Luna bowed.

'Hello Zeus, what brings you here'

He answered with a frown.

'Luna I apologize for the sudden intrusion, and even more sorry for this.'

He looked down at the little girl and then back to Luna, a tear had found its way from his eye.

'Luna I'm sorry but she can not be here anymore'

You could here the sorrow in his voice.

''But why my lord, I'm still trying my best to help her, she's only a little girl, and she also has nowhere to go!'

Tears rushing out of Luna's eyes, wetting the floor.

Zeus let go of Rosily and went to Luna.

'It's ok Luna she will have all of us looking after her, guiding her. I've already planed a home for her, but'

He said smiling.

'She can stay until morning.'

Luna was very happy, so happy she hugged Zeus before he left.

Once he was gone Luna walked over to Rose, grabbed her hands and squared to her level. In a very soft voice she started to talk to Rosily."
