The launch show

Joe's POV
It was the 8th of September which meant it was my birthday 27 years old. Not only that it was also the day of the launch show where all my family, friends and viewers finally could see who my partner would be on Strictly. I had organised a birthday/ launch show party at my apartment and invited everyone from strictly to come but unfortunately not all were able to make it but I knew that and I didn't think they'd all be able to fit in my living room.
I got up out of bed and headed to bathroom just checking to see if I did look any older but no but I knew this year would be my year I could just feel it. Once I got changed I headed downstairs to stay decorating then the door went it was Zoe and Alfie they had came to help me set up ready for the party and got me the most amazing cake everrrr! It had a sign of number ten which confused me at first but Zoe told me hopefully I will be getting tens of the show so then I got my vlog camera out mainly so I could look back at this in the future and remember what a great evening it was. Zoe kept bugging me asking who was my partner I refused to tell her the only person who knew was Byronnnnn but he promised not to say anything. As Zoe didn't know the names of the pro dancers she kept searching them up and asking me but I wouldn't let it slip.
It was later on in the evening now everyone start to arrive Caspar, Jack , Mikey and the rest of the boys. Then the pros started coming in and Dianne arrived in a glittery gold/silver jacket it made me think of disco ball very fitting to strictly. Then Alfie and Byron pulled me aside and told me they had a birthday surprise for me and told me to follow them upstairs. I was very confused I walked into my room and in the wardrobe comes out Tom I hadn't seen him in ages I was so shocked and so happy I couldn't believe he came and how did he get in my apartment with me noticing it was amazing!!! I got a bit later and strictly started me and Dianne say a bit away from each other so no one could guess who my partner was when it came on to announce who my partner was the room fell silent and then filled with cheers when finding out my partner is Dianne. I got up and walked over to her gave her a hug and kissed her on the cheek I was so ready for this chapter to start in my life. Once strictly ended the party was get more exciting and I had my cake and then everyone started dancing around. Me and Dianne took a few photos to post on Instagram and Dianne tried to teach me some dance. I don't really remember much else as I'm not going to lie I had a few drinks it was my birthday. But it was a great evening and I couldn't wait to get to the training room and start dancing with Dianne.
