Ash had sat himself on a rock beside a lake. For once his life he didn't feel sad or mad. Or anything intact. He felt.. Numb. Was this what it felt like to he a real demon? This numbness. This void of feeling. Well.. Being a real demon must suck balls then..

"You really shouldn't run away from things.." He heard Gray sigh as the angel sat next to him. Ash remained silent as he hugged his knees to his chest. "You mad at me for not telling you?" He shook his head no. "You mad at dad?" He shook his head yes. "Understandable." Gray said with a sigh while looking out at the lake.

"Where do you live.." Ash asked him quietly. "Around.." Ash knew this meant no where. Hell he probably sleeped in the streets.. "What about your mother? Or do you have another father? Like me?" Gray shook his head. "Mum died. Dad didn't want me." Gray said quietly his eyes stinging with tears.

"I want you." Ash said looking at him. Gray let out a choked sob as he looked away silent tears falling from his eyes. Ash quickly pulled him into a bone crushing hug to which Gray toke no time in hugging him back. Sitting the crying angel in his lap he gently wipped his tears away with his thumbs. "It's okay little brother. I'm ganna take care of you know.. I promise!" Ash said feeling as if the weight of the world was on his shoulder when really it was just grays head burrowing into the crook of his neck. "Thank you.."

------------

Ash had bridal style carried Gray all the way to grells. He knew he would have a lot of explaining to do but right know. He just needed his mothers help. And guidance..

"Mom! I need to tell you something! I don't think your ganna like this.."

He yelled when he entered the house. Grell coming running to them a kitchen apron on. "Ash.. What's this angel doing here.?" Grell asked in confusion. "That's what we need to talk about."

The conversation has gone for an hour or so before it finally concluded that Gray would now be living with them. Of course many emotions had crossed his mothers eyes he retold the tail of lovely little Gray. "I need to take to your father" Grell had said when they both finished. "Dinner is ready for you boys.. Just reheat it and it's good." Nodding Grell had slipped on his red coat and left.

"Well that's the first good meal I had in a long time!" Gray said happily as he pushed his empty plate aside. "Agreed"

Ash said back gathering up the dishes to put in the sink. "So.. What now?" Gray asked him timidly. "Well I was hoping maybe a bath or something.. " Ash said sighingly.

"Together?" This made ash look at him wide eyed. "W-well.. Why not?"

Blushing the too made there way up stairs to the bath room. Filling the tub with water Gray added In some lavender crystals before stopping the water. The too looked at each other blushing. "A-all strip first.." Ash stuttered as he hesitantly started to undress, Gray watching his every move. Kicking the clothes aside he carefully stepped into the warm water and sat down waiting for Gray to join him.

Ash was some what musclier. With fair skin and good structure. While Gray was something else. Gray was thin. Lanky and fragile looking. His skin so pale he could probably make it out to look as a ghost. Freckles dotted his skin here and there. Probably from his mother. Yet the thing that ash liked about Gray was how short he was. He wasn't dwarth short, or kid short. He was just.. Cute short.

Stepping into the bath Gray sat him self in between ashes legs to which ash held him close just almost straddling his hips. "Y-your really okay with this?" Gray asked him shyly. "Of course.. Your my little brother.." Ash said proudly as he started to rub soap against his white lovely skin. brothers....
