sometimes shit just happens and you have to learn to roll with it. that's basically been my life motto, shit just happens to me and i roll with it.
my life is so perfect on insta and all the tabloids, but it was being held together by strings and everything i had worked to build was moments away from crumbling. maybe it was my own damn fault, maybe if i cared more i would change and be the person i pretended to be.
"malibu?" jessica, my best friend and roomate, called from the kitchen, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"yeah?" she walked into the living room and plopped herself down onto the couch next to me.
"babe, let's go out. we haven't partied in forever." she pouted "we literally went to a party 3 days ago." I laughed flipping through tv channels.
"exactly. let's go to one. i heard bear is having another party tonight." she wiggled her eyebrows at me like a weirdo.
everyone knows his parties are some of the best but i had never been to one. i always managed to be working when they happened. i rolled my eyes "okay, okay. i'll go." she jumped up off the couch, clearly excited she had convinced me to go out again.
i wasn't really one for parties but I was all about getting fucked up. she was already almost all the way up the stairs when she yelled back down at me
"well? you have to get off the couch and get ready if you're going, mali!" i pushed myself off the couch and hurried upstairs to my bedroom to get ready. after i was done changing and fixing my makeup i snapped a few pictures for the gram.

the uber arrived as soon as i made my way downstairs. "i'm so excited. this is going to be a rager." she squealed.
we got into the backseat of the car and the fight through la traffic started. "shots?" jess smirked pulling out a handful of 99 cent shots.
