"I regret everything"

Letting out a loud yawn while attempting to rub the sleep out of your eyes, your movement was getting more sluggish with every passing second.

"You should have slept instead of playing Pokemon" Josuke said chuckling a bit at your state. "Actually I was playing Links Awakening, nerd" You say in a semi annoyed tone, when your tired you shouldn't be bothered with. Even if its just saying hello.

"Right my bad" he says in an uncaring tone, looking back at you he sighed. "Hurry up slowpoke where gonna be late on the first day, my mom would kill me if I am. She's already pissed about this morning" he said watching you grumble a bit before slowly picking up your pace to match his. "You're calling me a slow poke? I'm sorry Mr. Spends an hour doing his hair every day." "Oi its not an hour, its just that today it wasn't setting properly" The pompadour clad said with one hand carefully going up to touch his hair, even now it still felt off to him.

As you two finally made it to the bus stop, you decided to sit on the floor against the mini pond with Josuke as you waited for the bus to come. About ten minutes had passed and you were slowly dozing off, right as you where gonna close your eyes for a quick nap Josuke made a small yelp of fear. "Scary!"

Opening your eyes and looking over at your friend in annoyance you almost laughed when you saw what he was spooked by. It was a small little turtle.

"Pfft, the manly Higashikata Josuke that supposedly fears nothing besides his hair being ruined is scared from a turtle?" You laugh making him glare at you.

"I wasn't scared, just slightly spooked. He came out of the water super fast! Besides all reptiles are creepy" he said glancing towards the turtle and scooched a bit aways. "How can this little guy scare you? He probably just woke up from this pond and wants food" You say watching the turtle make slowly walk towards Josuke. "Man I wish I could sleep for three months like this guy. That would be awesome" you say with another yawn.

Josuke sees the turtle slowly walking to him and grows more nervous,

Man this is pathetic. A guy like me scared of a turtle? he thinks to himself

Closing his eyes for a second he managed to convince himself if he can just touch the shell his fear of a turtle will be gone. Opening his blue eyes he gives the turtle another glance and takes a gulp and slowly reaches towards it. "What are you doing?"

"Its a new year, might as well get over a silly fear right?" He says but right before his hand touches the shell he quickly draws it back making you laugh.

I should cover his room with turtle and lizard posters sometime

Tearing your view away from the struggling Josuke, you looked around. Lots of people in school uniforms where around waiting for the bus like you and Josuke, but some of them where just adults who wanted to get to work. Though one person caught your eye, he was wearing a black shirt with white pants and trench coat along with a white hat that seems to fuse with his hair. Golden accessories where littered around his outfit, but that wasn't the main reason that caught your attention. He was huge!

"He's at least 190cm tall what the heck. And I thought Josuke was tall but this dude is on a whole other level" You mumbled as you watched him chat with a very short boy. Now anyone standing next to him would seem short, but this kid didn't even seem to reach his waist.

Turning your attention back to Josuke, you could see he has given up trying to touch it and is simply watching the turtle.

"When is this bus getting here? School needs to hurry up and start so it can finish already. I want to eat and sleep" You complain leaning your head back against the pond walls. Before Josuke could say anything a group of boys had surrounded you two and glared, well mainly towards Josuke.
