Chapter 8: The Machine and a Rescue Attempt

Tails and Cream was about to leave but, Eggman stopped them. "Cream can stay with me while you are out and me and her can have some cookies and milk and make something out of flowers, like---" Eggman was about to finish but, Cream interrupted. "Like flower crowns?" Cream said. Eggman nodded. "Yes, flower crowns!" Eggman said. Tails glared at, Eggman. "She's fine with me. Remember I don't have full trust with you and I will not trust you of having her with you alone, not knowing if you are gonna do anything evil, like you know capturing her, or using her for a test!" Tails said as, Eggman crossed his arms. "You can trust me, heh I'll do te.. I mean I won't do tests or cage her up... Heh... You know me!" Eggman said as he was nervously smiling. Tails picked up, Cream. "Never with my life I will trust you with her. I heard about you even before you attacked in the woods and when I met, Sonic the first time. Don't ever bother asking me that kind of stuff again! I will never trust you! I am only trusting you with this plan and after we finish, we are gone and back of becoming complete enemies!" Tails said as he flew away while holding, Cream. Eggman got upset as his plan failed and he punched his, TV and making his TV break. Tails and Cream flew into the city and they landed infront of a store that has everything that he need. "Do you have enough money for this, Tails?" Cream asked as, Tails looked at her. "No but I have it set that I can get a certain amount of items here once a month and all the items I need will take that certain amount up so we are good." Tails said as he smiled then Cream smiled. "That's good." Cream said as they walked inside. After awhile of them getting the stuff and heading back to base, Tails started to build as he had it to where he can keep a eye on, Eggman and Cream. Little but later, Tails finished. "This machine will save them!" Tails said as both, Cream and Eggman was glad to hear that but, Eggman was kinda upset because they are saving Sonic and the others.
Tails looked at, Eggman as he knew that Eggman has a idea. Tails powered the machine on. "We all there are going since I don't trust you, Eggman!" Tails said as, Eggman grabbed Cream and threw her into the machine. Tails tried to catch, Cream but it failed. Eggman ran up to, Tails as he grabbed him. "Fool!" Eggman said as he tried to throw, Tais in. Tails was fighting it as he shoved, Eggman up against a wall and, Tails grabbed Eggman and he tried to throw, Eggman into the machine but, Eggman grabbed tails. "You will not escape. This world is now mine!" Eggman said as, Tails got free and slammed, Eggman's face against the wall knocking, Eggman out. "Not in my watch!" Tails said as he picked, Eggman up and walked into the machine. After he got in, Tails pressed a button so the machine can shut off so, Eggman can't escape. Tails dropped, Eggman as he ran to Cream "Cream!" Tails said as he realized she was knocked out. "Rrrg You'll pay" Tails said as he was mentioning it to, Eggman. Tails picked, Cream up as he went to go search for the others. After awhile, Tails found the others. "Tails?" Sonic said as he saw, Tails. "Everyone follow me! We are getting out of here!" Tails said as they all gathered up. "Sonic, Amy, Knuckles, and Bluey? Wow I didn't know you were in here. Anyways let's go!" Tails said as they all walked off. After awhile, they made it to the right spot as, Tails pressed a button making the machine turn on and, Tails kicked Eggman out of the machine as all of them left the machine. After when everyone left, Tails kicked the machine a lot as the machine broke into pieces and it would not be able to be put back together. Amy walked up. "Thank you so much! And what happened to, Cream?" Amy said as, Tails pointed to, Eggman. Sonic was happy as he sped off as, Knuckles went to go protect the master emerald. Tails held, Cream in one army softly as he picked, Amy up and he flew back home.
