It was a day before the concert, and Marco was filled with excitement. He got to have a day with Tom, at a concert for the best band ever, and he didn't have to worry about Star. He thought about it a little more, and he hasn't heard much from her at all. But he shook it off, it wasn't the right time to be worrying, right? He looked over to his friend. Tom was driving them to the place of the concert, making sure they'd get there in time to at least get food before settling into their hotel room.
They finally got to their room, and they threw their luggage onto the floor. They sat down on the single bed, but Tom got back up not too long after and popped his back.
"I'm gonna run and get us some tacos from downstairs." Marco nodded, and Tom left the room.

Tom moved quickly, but he wasn't quite fast enough, and Star popped through a portal in the hotel-cafeteria section, and she smiled eerily at him as she walked to stand a few feet in front of him.
"I don't know what you're up to, but Marco is my boyfriend so keep your claws off of him." She poked his chest with her wand and squinted at him, and he nonchalantly looked at her.
"Uh, sure. Look, Star, I'm not trying to take him from you. I mean if anything did happen, it would be because he wanted it. I'm not that selfish, Starship." He tried to go around her, but she stepped back in front of him.
"You're both hiding something! I can feel it! Deeeeep in my gut, I feel something fishy going on..." She glared at him, and he walked around her again.
"Well, you should probably get that checked out. Bye, Star."

He got back to the room and handed Marco his tacos. He had gotten them both two tacos each, and by now they were cold, but neither of them seemed to care.
"So, Marco. Are you gonna sleep on the left or the right side?" Tom asked, looking over to his best friend.
"Well, the window is on the right side, but we're on the third floor, so I think it's probably safe... I think I'll sleep on the right side." Tom giggled at him and ruffled his brown hair.
"Alright, well I'll be your left side body guard, how's that sound?" He nudged Marco, and he smiled at the way that he blushed. Tom loved every little bit of this.

"So Tom, I was thinking. Like, do you ever get to sleep on your side, or do your horns stop you from doing that?" Marco looked at him almost like he was about to get some kind of secret information.
"Well, when I was younger I could kind of do that but it still felt very uncomfortable. But when they grew more, it was basically impossible." He leaned back onto the bed. Both of them were done with their food by now, and they got comfortable under the blankets.
An hour later, they were both still awake, too excited to get any rest. Marco had already been to a Love Sentence concert before, but that didn't stop him from being excited. If anything it fueled it even more, since he already knew how great it was.
Tom, on the other hand, was trying his best to sleep, but the idea of sleeping in the same bed as Marco really got him nervous. It wasn't like they were doing anything, but he was so close, it almost frightened him. He wanted to cuddle with Marco, but he knew it was a bold step that he didn't want to try taking.

The next day came by, neither of them remembered when they fell asleep. Marco was the first one to wake up, and he lifted his head to see Tom's chest underneath him, and he bolted up. He quickly found out that wasn't the best idea, as he fell onto the bed. He looked up to see Tom floating above the bed, and he groaned.
"Tom, get up." He pulled him down and shook the demon awake.
"Hmmwha- Marcooo, just a little longer please.." He wrapped up in the blanket, but Marco pushed him onto the floor, and Tom was woken up completely this time.
"Augh, Marco, the heck dude-" Tom stood up and rubbed his hip.
"Sorry, I just didn't know what else to do." Marco shrugged, and Tom sat on the edge of the bed.
"You could've kissed me, like that one fairy tale." Tom said, smirking at Marco, who's face was quick to turn bright red.
"Jeez, you're sappy. And that story is only the cartoon version, you do not wanna know the real version." Marco ruffled Tom's hair, and the demon looked at him questioningly, but he didn't wanna ask about it.
"Wanna go get some food?" Tom asked, and Marco was quick to jump up.
"Heck yeah!" They both got up and ran down to the cafeteria section.

Marco piled his plate with different breakfast foods, and Tom settled on a few things that he could recognize. He wasn't used to a lot of the food he saw on earth, and he was hesitant on trying new things. They both got a cup of hot coffee, and they sat down at a table to eat their food. Tom and Marco talked and ate, but they both stared over to their side where Star popped through a portal.
"Heeey, Marco!" She walked over and hugged him, squeezing him tightly.
"Heh, hey Star! You're kind of- wheeze crushing me." She let go of him quickly and he coughed a bit.
"Oops, sorry. Anyways, I just came to say that I'm not mad about you going with Tom." She smiled brightly at him.
"Oh, you're not?" Both boys asked, Tom being very sarcastic with his delivery, and rolling his eyes.
"Nope! I'm going with Jackie, since her girlfriend couldn't make it this time." She bounced a bit and started to go back through the portal.
"Bye guys! Just don't have too much fun without me!" With that, she glared at Tom before she left, and the boys looked at one another and shrugged.
