Rachel's POV:

My heart is racing with anticipation as I grab my leather jacket and boots, and do my hair and makeup to match my badass outfit. Tonight, I'm going to the Firewalk concert and I can finally let go of my perfect image and just be myself.

Living with my grade-A asshole dad is suffocating, but I have an amazing mom who understands me. She's letting me go to the concert tonight, and I couldn't be more excited. Too bad she won't be home tonight to cover for me.

As I rush to the train tracks, I can feel the adrenaline pumping through my veins. I check the time - 6:42 pm - and wait impatiently for the next train that will take me all the way up to the mill.

But the real reason I'm going to the concert is not just to see Firewalk perform. It's because Chloe Price is going to be there. The one person I've been crushing on since I was fourteen.

I know we come from completely different worlds, but I can't help the way I feel. And tonight, I'm determined to talk to her and make a connection.

As the train finally arrives, I feel my excitement building. This is my chance to finally get to know Chloe. But as I step onto the train, I can't help but wonder - will she even give me the time of day?
