The sun peeked through the gaps between the curtains. The sunlight that fell on her face quickly turned into heat. With that, her eyes opened swiftly before she moaned and stretched into her new mattress simultaneously. Cassandra lifted herself onto her feet, wriggling her toes into her comfortable house sandals, and stretching her arms out towards her textured ceiling. To her, life had never seemed so wonderful. She literally had her shit together.

After one glance at herself in the mirror, she decided today was a shower day. Greasy hair wasn't in style yet. She turned the shower handles with two squeaks and left the water to turn hot enough as she brushed her teeth into pearly whites. Her steamy shower and morning routine took up quite some time.

It was a Monday and the start of a new semester, at that. Virgo season felt like a rejuvenation after a lengthy self development filled summer. But also a summer filled with the sufficient amount of lounging around.

Cassandra checked her phone for any new messages before deciding on a breakfast to whip up.

bf ❤️: "Good morning, love! Hope to see you soon. Have fun at your class and remember to kiss up to your professors. I have a coffee shift today, so I don't know when I'll see you. Much love xoxo"

Collin was always so romantic in his morning messages. He was always a sweetheart to her, and she couldn't be happier.

Her cheeks shot up, and then dropped back down when she noticed the time: 10:25 a.m..

She raided her fridge for a quick meal idea and settled on a whip cream mouthful and a banana to go. Cassandra tilted her head back, held the can to her face, and pushed the tiny lever towards her face. With a gush, there was a mouthful of sweet, smooth whip cream that smoothly lay on her tongue. Rushing, she scrambled around the house for her keys, a water bottle, and pulled her bag over her shoulder before locking up her house and driving to the university.

Cassandra had already attended a year at her university, yet looking at her class number wasn't enough for her to know where to look. She should be embarrassed. Her class started in five minutes and her brain could be compared to that of a goldfishes. Not even in a car was she good with directions. Does google maps for classrooms exist?

Vidal peered over her shoulders as she held the university map horizontally, and then extending it out vertically. She let out a huff before she set the map on the floor and stepped onto it. She saw it in a show once.

His brown hair swept the left in curls and his chiseled jaw covered in recently groomed stubble. His lips were full and almost permanently pouty. His eyes were almond shaped and on the smaller side, paired with slight depth beneath his thick eyebrows. His prominent cheekbones highlighted as he breathed out a laugh, and paired it with a sly smile before she was aware of his presence, "Maybe if you try spinning around in a little dance, you'll jump into the map. Extra points if you do a strip tease."

"Mind your business, pervert," she sucked air between her teeth, having not known there was someone behind her shoulder. Cassandra then huffed out, crinkling her nose up in disgust and tilting her head up to look at him.

"Fine by me. I'll just be heading to classroom 301S in the Southwing, Political Science 104, Professor Hardin," he replied, looking forward towards his route, and smirking just enough to highlight his devilish charm. He stuffed his hands into his pockets, and his feet picked up one after the other nonchalantly.

Cassandra looked at her schedule and resented having the same class with such a shameless pervert. And a jerk, at that. This school should really have been more particular with who was considered to be qualified students. And with some quick inner debating, accompanied by the gnawing of her bottom lip, she trotted along behind him yet left enough space between them as not to have him rub off his vulgar personality on her.
