- Unknown Time and Location -
- Charlotte Rey's POV -I awoke to find myself resting against Sebastian's shoulder. We were both badly beaten - he could barely see out of his broken glasses. I couldn't believe our own mother was doing this to us!
"Are you alright, Charlotte?" Sebastian asked me, "You were out for a while..."
"Mm... did anything happen whilst I was out?" I pouted, trying to sit up straight.
He gestured over to the two new people in our cell. "Julia and Zero got chucked in here a little while ago. They're currently recovering from the blow."
"Time to wake up, darlings!" Our mother chuckled over the loudspeaker, "Haven't you noticed that it's getting rather hot in there? Once the sun reaches it's peak, the room will be... too hot to stand. Make sure the sunlight doesn't touch you, okay?"
I glanced over to the side of the cell. Sure enough, the sunlight had begun to creep in, burning away at the moss. Thanks, climate change.
"We need to get out of here," Julia muttered, moving towards Sebastian and I, "Q, any ideas?"
Sebastian looked down at her watch. "Um... I. Um. I lied. About the watch being... just a watch."
Julia took the watch off of her wrist. "Right. How do I activate it? I assume it's a bomb or something, knowing you."
"Set the timer to ten to two," he told her, "Click the red button. Then slide it under the door."
She did just that; we all braced as the explosion knocked the door off of it's hinges. Sebastian and I slowly stood up, supporting each other.
"Like hell nobody didn't hear that," said Zero, "Kirigiri, arm yourself or something."
Julia peeked around the door and grabbed a nearby piece of broken pipe. "This will have to do." She muttered.
The four of us crept through the hallways, looking for an exit route. Just as we were about to make a run to a nearby helicopter, a guard flashed his gun at us.
Julia leapt for him, throwing his gun to the side as it fired a shot, narrowly escaping my arm. Sebastian picked it up and fumbled around with it.
The guard pinned Julia against the wall as she kicked against him, trying to escape. She glanced over at us, pleading for help in her own way.
Zero yelled and kicked against the guard, whom kicked her away in retaliation. She sprawled across the ground and held her stomach in pain.
Meanwhile, Sebastian held up the gun on the guard's forehead. "Um... let her go, or I'll... I'll shoot!"
The guard shrugged and elbowed Sebastian's stomach. He yelped and dropped the gun as it fired again, a bullet hitting the guard's ankle.
They fell to the floor as Julia kicked their stomach. "Good riddance." She spat, picking up Zero and pulling us along with her.
"I-I didn't mean to shoot him," Sebastian stammered, "You saw that, didn't you-?"
I nodded. "It wasn't your fault. Don't worry about it."
"Quickly; we have to get back to M as quickly as possible," Julia told us as she threw Zero onto the helicopter, "X is about to make a big mistake."

- November 9th -
- Interpol HQ -Julia was driving - almost speeding - towards Interpol's HQ. We were all fumbled into a car, talking to M on the speakerphone.
"... Alright. I trust you on this," M muttered, "N and I will confront X at this new building of his. Q, C, I'm counting on you two to bring this down."
I smiled softly. "A brother and sister team, huh? That sounds like fun."
"Griffin has agreed to take Zero off of your hands," M continued, "Meet him at the drop off point. Kotoko should be there too, apparently, but you won't have time to play catch up."
"We need to hurry. It should be going up in two hours..." Julia sighed, "... Q, C, we're all counting on you. We can't let Moonlight access X's database. Not even for a second."
"We have tried to contact X," N butted in from over the phone, "But his phone is off, and he's not responding to our demands. Moonlight really have got him... um... brainwashed? Is that a nice way of putting it?"
Julia pulled up on the sidewalk and watched as Zero jumped out. Felix and Kotoko were standing there, Kotoko waving to her mother.
"You guys better come back for me soon. This guy looks boring." Zero muttered, glaring at Felix.
Felix looked offended (from what I could see of him). "H-Hey-! We haven't even been introduced yet..."
"Good luck, everyone!" Kotoko grinned, "Tell me how it all plays out later, okay?"
We waved them off as Julia sped away once more, heading to meet with M and N. Sebastian pulled out his (new) laptop.
"I can't access the server without being nearby," he began, "Once I'm up there, we can get this thing taken down."
"Hopefully there'll be something I can hook up to as well," I beamed, "Then we can get it done at half the speed it'll take for one person!"
Julia smiled to herself. "You two really have gotten close. I assume you bonded over your mother?"
I nodded. "Mm! Sure, she beat us up a bit... but once we were alone, we got talking. Turns out we led really similar childhoods."
"She didn't react very well when she found out our childhood home got destroyed," Sebastian chuckled, "But at least we got rid of our father. Now we just have to deal with our mother."
"I didn't expect to be involved in all of this... family drama," Julia shook her head, "M might try and pull you two apart now that he knows you're related. You know... workplace stuff."
"I won't let him!" I pouted, leaning against Sebastian's shoulder, "I'll just appeal to N. He's a softy. And he can basically make M do anything."
"He... well, yes, I suppose you're right," Sebastian frowned, "When's the wedding, again? Have they proposed yet?"
"We're not discussing this now-!" Julia quickly interjected, "You two, focus on the... whatever!"
Sebastian and I both looked at each other and winked.
