24 more days to go....
"Whoa" I exclaimed as we entered the club
"Told you it'll be lit" Jennifer beamed at me
You're wondering how we got here, right? Well, let me explain it to you.

There was a knock on our bedroom door. Anabelle and I were taking a nap but we were forced to wake up.
"Come in"
A reverend sister came in
"Ruby, someone is here to see you in the principal's office"
"Okay sister. Thank you"
She nodded and left
Who is it?
"Expecting someone?" Anabelle asked
"Not at all"
I wore my flip flops and left the room to go to the principals office. I knocked on the door and entered when he told me to come in.
To my surprise, it was Jennifer. She was dressed in a maxi black dress with sunglasses and a red scarf on her hair. She looked very mature. No one would guess she was just an eighteen year old girl.
"Oh Ruby" Jennifer cried "your aunt is sick"
I feigned sadness knowing exactly what she was doing. It was a way to get me out of school.
I cried with her. The tears flowed freely from my eyes. I'm really good.
The principal sympathized with us. He wanted to call my mom but Jennifer stopped him.
"She's not in the mood now sir" she sobbed "if you remind her of her sister, she may just break down. Can I take her out for a moment please"
