Lame ass!

The words swirled in his head, making it hard for him to properly stitch up the three new cuts that appeared on his arm. His hands trembled as he poked the needle through his arm.

»Why couldn't I have been born normally?« He thought as he finished stitching himself. He cleaned up the blood and put the stuff away.

His phone began to ring, the jolly sound of his ringtone told him who had called him, yet he didn't feel like answering it. Instead, he went to his living room and laid on the couch, being careful of the arm he fixed up. His phone rang again but he ignored it.

After the third missed call, he began to get annoyed with the ringing. With a sigh, he answered the phone and nearly teared up from the voice on the other end.

"Hey dude, I'm coming over"

He smiled a little at her voice. He had pushed her away so much that he thought she didn't want to be around him anymore.

"Alright dudette," he replied quietly, "I'll be waiting."

Whilst their call was short, he felt a little better. She always somehow made him feel happier, no matter what happened.

There was a knock on the door. He sighed as he forced himself to get up to go answer it. As soon as he opened the door, he was tackled into a warm but strong hug. He gave her a hug back and treasured the moment. The two pulled away after a while and she went over to thee living room. He shut his door and sat next to her on the couch.

"How've things been..?" She asked softly as she took his hands in hers. He looked at her with sad eyes and looked down.

"Fine, like usual." He spoke quietly. She made him look at her, her golden brown eyes were soft and said the unspoken words. "I promise."

"I know you're not ok and that's ok. You don't always have to be ok," she hugged him gently. He hugged her back, tears filling his eyes. He felt safe in her arms, as if nothing can hurt him now.

"Thank you for always being here for me.." He murmured softly. He felt her smile against him.

"No need to thank me.. I love being around you.." She replied in the same soft manner.

They held onto one another for the rest of the night.
