"I do," I spoke as I held hands with my soon-to-be. She looked at me with a bright smile. I couldn't help but melt at the sight of her smile.

"Do you Belle take Edd as your lawfully wedded husband?" The priest turned to Belle. She giggled and nodded.

"I d–" She got cut off by the doors to the church being slammed open we turned to look at whatever made the sound and was shocked to see three tall men standing there.

"Who the hell are you?!" I asked with major confusion. I wasn't sure what was going on but I was ready to protect Belle with my life.

"Sir, back away from the woman. She's not who you think she is." One of the men told me as he took out a what looked like a weird looking gun. The three walked slowly towards us.

Just as I was about to jump in front of Belle, she raised her arms and the men flew back as if a great force as pushed them. I looked at Belle with wide eyes as her eyes had a raging fire in them.

"We have to go Edd! Now!" Belle yelled as she grabbed my hand and began to run. I followed close behind her, looking back to see the men getting up from the ground.

"What's going on?!" I asked with fear in my voice. What have I gotten myself into?! Why was this happening–what the hell is even happening?!

"I'll explain everything to you when we're in a safe place, but for now, please just listen to me!" Belle replied, tears gently rolled down her cheeks as she ran. I nodded in response and followed her to a dark hallway within the church. We hid in one of the rooms and blocked the door.

"Please, explain to me what's going on love.. Who are those men and why were they warning me?" I asked, taking her hands gently in mine. Even in the darkness of the room, she looked absolutely stunning. I could feel her shaking as she held back a sob.

"I-...  I'm not a normal person like you are, Edd..." Belle explained quietly. She took a shaky sigh and looked up at me with her oak brown eyes. "I'm not human... I'm from the planet of Oceana."

I stared at her confused. Oceana? I never heard of that planet. It must be from another galaxy.. Right? "What do you mean Belle? I'm confused.."I asked hoping to get a clearer explanation.

"My name is Aquatia and I'm from Oceana. Three years ago I arrived on Earth to get away from the Marlians from the planet Marli. They invaded my home and now they're after me because of my powers." Belle explained. I nodded slowly before there was a banging on the door. I put Belle–er, Aquatia–behind me as I backed up.

"I know you're in there, Aquatia! Open up the door!" A voice yelled through the door. I looked around and spotted a window. I ran over to it and unlocked it, looking around to make sure there wasn't any danger outside.

The banging on the door got louder, which alarmed me greatly. They could he trying to kicked the door open for all I know.

"Hurry, out the window love!" I whisper yelled to her. She looked at me like a doe in headlights. "I'll be fine, just go, please!"

I could hear the door beginning to break, which panicked me greatly. I ushered Aquatia out the window, promising her that I'll catch up to her. We shared a quick kiss before she began to run. I watched her run out of sight just as the door bust open.

The men came in and started yelling to each other. I ducked down and hid under one of the tables, praying to whatever gods there were that I wouldn't be found.

"Where did they go?!"

"Check everywhere, they couldn't have gone far!"

"Look! The window is open!"

I heard feet shuffling over to the window and held my breath. It felt like hours before the telling and shuffling left. I peeked out from under the table and took the first chance I got to dart out the window and run in the direction that I saw Aquatia run in.

I looked around for any clue as to where she could've went, then I remembered that we had a hang out place nearby. With a boost of adrenaline, I ran as fast as I could to the docks. My heart was pouring in my hearts and my chest felt tight as it got harder to breathe. I slowed down once I got near the docks and allowed myself to catch my breathe as I looked around for the boat we had rented months ago.

"Look! There he is!"

I turned to look where the voice had come from and saw it was one of the men. I began to run again, not knowing where to go when suddenly–

"Shh, it's just me," Aquatia whispered as she took her hand off my mouth and put me behind her. She had pulled me into some sort of hidden spot. She looked around to see if the guys were gone and sighed quietly.

"Why won't they give up?" I asked her curiously. She bit her lip and shrugged.

"They want to use me because of what I can do..." She murmured back. I nodded slowly and held her close to me as foot steps ran past where we were hiding. I didn't want to lose her to some alien freaks.

"Let's make a run for the boat. Then we can get away on water," I suggested. She nodded and we ran to our rented boat, Umbrellas Float.

Once we were safely in, I untied it from the docks and started the engine. We were going to make our great getaway and live happily.

Or so I thought.

Just as we got away from land, I heard some rummaging in the boat and went to check it out. Aquatia was holding a fire extinguisher.

"I'm sorry Edd, but you know too much," She spoke softly before raising the extinguisher and bringing it down on my head. The last thing I saw was a look of guilt on her face before everything went black.

"I'm sorry..."
