I eventually got home around 11 at night and mom was fast asleep and so was shira, I just went upstairs and took my clothes off and i threw them in the washer and i went into my room. I turn on netlfix and i sat there just watching tv till suddenly my phone lit up

i looked at it and i saw David texted me

David: hey look im sorry about what tyler said at the lunch table, brock brought it to my attention that what he said sounded a lot ruder than I bet he meant it to

Y/N: oh its fine, dont stress about it, why are you awake? its so late at night?

David: yeaaa I know but I just can't sleep

Y/N: how come? you must be really excited about the party tomorrow?

David: sure thats why...

Y/N: whats wrong David? you can talk to me

David: nah dont worry about it, but ill see you tomorrow ok?

Y/N: nooo talk to me man, fr come on

David: I can't find anything to wear💀

Y/N: you're joking?

David: no....

Y/N: I'll come over tomorrow ok?

David: ok well imma skip school tomorrow

David: you can join me you know?😂

Y/N: you better pick me up! Here's my address just in case

I gave David my address and then I clicked the power button once to turn the screen off and I put my phone down and went to sleep

by morning I was already getting yelled at by my digital adult, my alarm clock. basically demanding me to get up and eventually I did so. I rubbed my eyes and stretched a yawn then gazed down at my phone and I saw David had texted me

I opened the message to see what he said seeing as he had texted me about 30 minuets ago

David: hey so I hope this is your real address because if I drive up to some random house and start honking and some old guy walks out trying to beat me with his cane then im going to kill you Y/n!

I decided to respond as I remembered I planned on just skipping school today just to help David

y/n: hey yea its my address tho you might still need to be afraid or ill walk out with the cane! XD

I grinned at my text then sent it and sat my phone down, then got dressed and did my everyday morning ritual.

eventually I heard my phone ding and I walked over to it with my toothbrush in my mouth and I saw it was David who texted

David: ok I see how it is -_- ill be there in about 15 minuets...-_-

I slightly smiled then went back to the bathroom to finish brushing my teeth then shortly after it ended with me just playing the waiting game

I noticed mom stayed asleep while shira came downstairs to get her backpack but noticed I wasnt getting mine

"ugh? y/n what are you doing? come on!" she spoke as she noticed we typically leave the house by now and wanted me to hurry up
